How do the police know that it was Vaseline and not some other brand of petroleum jelly. More importantly, is someone getting kinky with a car here ?

McAuliffe apparently has some prankster friends. I remember when a little TP, a bar of soap, and a jar of Vaseline was a great Halloween supply kit. Nowadays, it usually includes a firearm and incendiary devices. :-(

I witnessed a child approx 2 years old walking around naked in the rain. He was almost hit by a car and would have proceeded down the wrong street; however, a young couple from New Jersey stopped to make sure someone was looking out for this little tot. He then went back up the road where he lives on and finally a woman came out to get him. She did not even thank this young couple for looking out for him. Just took him back in the house. Wake up people!!! Too many children are being kidnapped and murdered. Children can go out unnoticed very easily, but this child was gone for way too long. This mother had better thank God that he was found OK and someone was watching out for this precious child.

I am so glad that the elderly woman was taken out of her home and taken to the hospital for care. Her poor excuse for a son or even human being is absolutely dispicable and is soooo guilty of elder abuse. Shame on him!!! And shame on anyone who abuses the elderly or defenseless children. When are people going to realize that human life is to be cherished, respected, and valued!!!

chambersburg has lots of shitty mothers who dont watch their kids. a couple of them live in my neighborhood. they also dont feed or dress there kids so the kids end up with your kids clothes on and always asking whats for dinner. and when u go to leave to take your kids to the park the poor children are always begging to come with you. im the idiot that feels bad and gives in to these deprived kids.

2 kids a couple houses from me, parents don't watch them either. they run wild over the whole neighborhood and they are only about 5 or 6 years old. little boy stood peeing in my driveway one day. I think it's disgraceful no one watches these kids, they are in the street, they are riding those large battery operated vehicles in the street, they go in people's yards, and go up to strange dogs, something is going to happen to them some time and who is going to be responsible?

That's a bizarre story, but fortunately with a good ending. If a mother does not put extreme value on her child, someone else will. Healthy babies bring thousands of dollars on the black market, no questions asked. All families should be aware of this sinister behavior.

Hey, Kay Bee, that was me 20 years ago..........and, I don't regret it for a minute! It got so crazy, I had to borrow a van, just to go to the skating rink! Those kids (now young adults) all show me the utmost respect today. They remember who cared, and who didn't.

What a sad story. Many years ago my stepmother was walking downtown, she passed a car and hear a baby crying. She then turned around to check it out and found the baby, in a car, face down in the floorboard gravel (way before car seats) and sought help. She saw the town mayor and was showing him and suddenly a woman appeared and really flew into her. The baby died.

People have got to wake up! Never, never assume an unattended child is O.K.
