Which topic do you think is the biggest trouble spot and should be addressed above others?

Our huge welfare state! We have large numbers of people who do not contribute to society. These same people tear our infrastructure down and make it unsafe and impractical for the rest of us to live here.

yeah, your right, they are black. But it's not the color of their skin that makes them useless. It's the content of their character. I should know. I know many good, hard working black men and women that come from this city. Of course, being hard working, they got the hell out of this city as fast as possible, so not to be brought down in name with everyone else.
You want a change? Get rid of the politics of today, it's what lead us here.
And while your at it? Get rid of the damn racism as well. It's not helping a damn thing.

Its like this. I get along with people of all races. Black, White, American Indian. And what's sad is yes, Katrina did a number on New Orleans. Affordable housing is NOT getting any easier. I live in the Oklahoma City area. And to rent a house in Edmond, Oklahoma over $800 per month. NOT including the electric, water, and everything else. Y'all would agree with me. This world would be 200% better if we used 'The Golden Rule', and even love thy neighbor.

We moved to Nashville because of politics in New Orleans. Fix government and everything else on the list will fix too!

I believe that poverty is the cause of many of the problems in N.O. Because of poverty many people do not value education so the cycle of violence is repeated. Because of poverty people can't afford housing in N.O., children join gangs, participate in violent and non-violent crimes because their parents are forced to work 2 and 3 jobs and are unable to spend time with their children. I do believe that politics need to be fixed but that will not fix all of the ills in N.O. until we deal with with the poverty here and this has been a problem in the city long before Hurricane Katrina.
