My name is Mike Lloyd. Son of Ben Lloyd and Elizabeth Seaner. My dad grew up in Pottsville, and my mom, Betty Seaner grew up in Ashland. My Nana was Mary Doyle Seaner Moore Toohey.(among others) She lived over the VFW on Centre St. Just down the block from the old theater. My Nana's friends that I can think of was Ann Helwick. All I remember is the Catholic Church on the hill, Fr Boyle, he had two or three missing fingers. I use to ring the bell on Sunday.
Anyway, my mom and me moved Nana from Ashland to Bowie, MD in 1988. Since then, Nana and Mon have died (Nane in 1990 @ 97 and momm in 1991 @ 71) I want to write a story (possibly a book) about Nana. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appriciated.
