The solution is easy Paul, buy the land so they can't build. Until than, stop whining about what landowners (those folks who pay taxes for that property) are doing with their land. I bet the development you live in was a nice piece of open space at one time too!!

Go back to writing about your hatred for motorcycle helmet laws. These seem to be your areas of interest and expertise.

Wind-generated power is a hoax. Plain and simple. A total hoax. The damage they do to the environment and animal habitat is horrific. You're right on, Paul.

These windmills are inaccurately named and stand condemned by any standard of decency and objectivity.

But let's have no sympathy for the hunters who only care about their violent fun being taken away.

And Mr Carpenter, given your predilection toward murder as a methedology of dealing with your enemies, why should anyone not want to remain anonymous in any exchange of ideas with you? You served this country honorably in the Air Force but you have not been a man of honor since that time.

This is true. As soon as we have destroyed our power industries and have set up these alternative sources, the environmentalists will start complaining about the wind mills.
After we're all (whoever's left) living in caves again they'll want to prohibit wood fires.

Maybe they can make the turbines look like gigantic artificial trees, just like the cell phone companies did with their towers to appease the environmentalists.

You obviously don't live near any or will never be subjected to the hell wind turbines deliver. Nor do you live in the beautiful rural mountains of PA. You have no respect or knowledge of nature and the need to keep it intact. As for landowners who pay taxes on the land and being able to do what they want with it, I'll bet my bottom dollar that you would have something to say to your next door neighbor if he chose to build several 450 foot tall turbines in front of your picture window. Keep in mind these so-called landowners who lease to wind turbines are mostly absentee landowners who will never experience any of the noise or ill effects. They will only get a fatter wallet at your expense. Also, when all the mountains are destroyed and filled with concrete, our food chain depleted due to the mass murder of bats, and global warming worsens due to no more forests, be sure to pat yourself on the back for being uneducated enough to fall for the wind turbine scam.
