I believe something is being covered up... and somebody should find out what and why. I can't believe the Elk Rapids Police let the schools go on believing that it was a suicide... That damages kids.
Maybe they ought to call in someone to get to the bottom and find out who is keeping it under cover. |

Anne should be ashamed of herself, and the Elk Rapids Police Department. If I was Sam's Mother I would want to know the truth. Unless I was the one that did it!!

Rumors have it he did not do that. If the news would dig deeper, the Police seem to be covering up some things.... Read between the lines.......... |

Maybe if the news dug deeper the truth, truth, truth will come out. Its strange how there are no stories about this in the paper, EVER! Why are people being led to believe it was suicide? They need to get the truth out. |

As a student and as Sam's friend I am disgusted that you can sit here and gossip as if you were talking in a beauty salon about how Mrs. Smith had and affair with the milk man. I miss Sam. We miss Sam. I don't care how he died. But the fact is he did just that. Now if it wasn't a suicide then I hope the person who did it will rot in the worst part of hell but for now let's just focus on Sam. Lets remember him for who he was, not how he died, and leave the gossip off the internet.

Yes. But as I said, it's suspicious, I won't point fingers, however like I have already said, the police are not giving all the facts, nor will they for a while, it's sad really. I have friends who we're deeply inpacted, 3 people in a row, it's just too much.

She is in Jail but for something different!!!! She was charged with assalt with a dangerous weapon!!! that happened in september Nothing to do with her son.....

Ah! Thanks for telling us. Very enlightening. However I still don't believe the police has dodged telling what has happend. Might be paranoia, might be because Sam killing himself doesn't seem right IDK.

I think the police are hiding something. Maybe to protect one of their own. Its sad that the children of Elk Rapids had to endure this and that it was ruled as a suicide. That really plays heavy on kids at that age.
Maybe outside help should be brought in to dig into the truth. Maybe if the media was informed they would dig in deeper. |

How about you all shut the F*** up about what did or did not happen to Sam. Is this the best way that you know how to remember him? By creating rumors that will only snowball and leave memories of Sam that are of ambiguity instead of happiness. Remember Sam for who he was, not how he died. If any of you truly call yourselves his friends... re-think your disposition.

Maybe we want to know answers and look to who to blame. Maybe we want some closer as to what happend, if all we can get is rumors what else do we have? Nothing in the way of answers. And please, if your going to cuss, how's about you acually do it? Kinda annoying thanks. If you don't like the posts walk away, there is no reason to get all bent out of shape. We all want answers, if this is the only way to get something that even comes close, it's all we have.
