I love reading your column. I have a problem with my flowerbeds being overun by earwigs. I live on the South Shore of long Island. I speak to friends about this and no one seems to have this problem. I don't want to spray because i have two dogs and I have a butterfly garden. If I spray for earwigs, won't it kill the butterflies too? is there any kind of spray that will work on my plants without harming my pets or butterflies?I hope you can help me with this problem.
