I just went back and read your posts, wondering what this man did to you. You start off saying that the church employs a gay person and that we should be outraged. We weren't -love the sinner hate the sin. The bible says that fornification is a sin, but ask ANY congregation anywhere for a show of hands on that one...so we all sin. Jesus even was clear on this in the bible when people were about to stone an prostitute - you know that story.
THEN, much later, you said the man came on to you. That was your allegation. Okay, is that what he did or did he actually molest you?

Why dont you guys go back to find out where the word Sin was used in other cultures and what it meant. You might learn something.

Im here to say whatever the hell I want. I guess you're not interested in looking into the word Sin, then.

It seems Rodney's case was adjourned once again.I guess this is going to drag out in the courts and we will have to wait it out.I wish he would plead guilty instead of causing more heartache for the people around him.I guess jail isn't the place he wants to be but it seems it's going to happen either way just a matter of how long.

You're kidding. I was hoping that this would get settled quickly so that it won't affect Mrs. Jackson's teaching this coming year. Hopefully it won't.

Oh good for her.She was an innocent victim in all of this..Rodney's case is supposed to be on 8-21-08 thats the new date.Hopefully it wont be adjourned again.

Based on my reply, you can see that I am not here to debate religion. However, since I have a curious mind, I googled the origins of the word "sin" and found it to be no more than what I already knew it to be. As far as what is sin and what is not, that is something that people have been trying to figure out for centuries. Of course, many sins are obvious found throughout ancient cultures as well as our own. But then there are those grey area sins that aren't so obvious that people have been struggling to this day. If you bring the conversation back to Rodney, some may say that having sex with a consenting 16 year old is fine. However, if you're paying money to a school and it was your 16 year old, you may have a problem with it. In addition, Rodney had a wife, so he was also commiting adultry.
