My mom got the worst care imaginable at Medford Multicare and it wasn't from her caregivers. It was from her physician, the social worker and a psychiatric NP. The place is understaffed and the bad press is blamed on the wrong people. Go after the administrators. To bad there was no video there when my brother was changing my mother's diapers.

I ordered an investigation into a VERY serious event which involved my Mother at Medford Multicare; an episode of gross negligence which
put her at great risk and occurred two days in a row even after we had pointed it out to them. Rather than try to make things better, the employees at Medford just plain flat-out lied about it and covered it up. There are SOME good people there; but face it, where there's smoke there's fire. There's reasons why the place consistently receives a one-star rating. These people are dangerous and incompetent and some of them are literally evil. Don't trust them one little bit and don't ever put anyone you love into this dump.

Where do you go when you get old to get away from the dirtbags?

So is there any information about whether those accused have gone to jail or not?

Everyone makes mistakes now and then. All of a sudden Medford Multicare is instilling policies. Hindsite is twenty-twenty. I did; I contacted the New York State Attorney General's Office. The attorney I spoke with told me that two people are about to be sent to jail, further arrests are pending and at least one of their physicians has been put on their "watch list." They are continuing to gather intelligence with a view towards making more arrests in the coming months.
