Does anyone recall old Rt. 309 and the elementary school that became a furniture store and now is an office?
Anyone recall the Texaco Gas Station and diner called Mena's Luncheonette?
Anyone have any pictures of that area?
Would appreciate seeing pictures since those people were my relatives.

I don't know where you live, but over at the library down here, there is a book that was put out for the bicentennial for Upper Saucon Township. IIRC, there were some pics in there of what you are looking for. It was blue and hardcovered, about 200 pages. If I remember I'll check and see what is in there.

There was another gas station right across Rt 309 from that Texaco station. Going south, there were several homes and then the station. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.

The Bicentenal book probably will not have pictures of this particular area of Center Valley. But, it's a good book to see how Center Valley/Coopersburg area use to be like.

Well, I would think pictures do exist since a lot of living was going on. Lots of things were torn down to make way for the highway.
If anyone has any ideas on where I can find some pics I would greatly appreciate it.
They were great times--simple ones--that I miss so much. Thanks for any help.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Sagittarius

Watch out. Your mind is working overtime in full analytical mode, but you may be leaping to unfounded conclusions and reading too much into situations. The result of all this is that you might start to suspect someone's honesty or loyalty, and wonder what exactly they're up to. Don't accuse them of anything awful just yet because it may turn out that you were totally wrong about them.
