daily three mile melissa traffic jam!

Has anyone had enough of the daily morning traffic jam on 121?! This is a major through commute for thousands of cars every morning and the lights are backing cars up past the public waste dept.! Any suggestions? Residents cannot get out of their neiborhoods, you cannot get out of the daycare, and commuters are sitting for up to half an hour on 121 waiting for the lights to allow movement on highway 121. How about some turn lanes so people no longer fly half a mile down the shoulders to make a right turn. How about a light timed to allow some traffic movement to keep 121 clearer? It's getting harder to get through and around Melissa in this area to take kids to and from school because of the lights on 121 then passing through the construction areas on 75! Let's hear your suggestions....? Who do we call for help?

I absolutely agree with you. How about starting with your Mayor? City council meetings are the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 7pm. I totally support you.
