We cannot trust a Democrat to protect our children from the cultural progressive thinking common among many Democrats today.

Davidson and Seedtick - I voted in the GOP Primaries however you have to see more than PARTY - you have to be able to THINK.

Here the GOP wants to waste money by changing perfectly good textbooks around.

I'm a school board member in CONSERVATIVE Aransas County and I support my Conservative GOP Congressman Ron Paul, but in the race Texans will make fools of themselves voting GOP. Even the states' 1050 mostly conservative school boards voting 75.39% to take politics out of the book process. Please learn the issues

I am a lifelong Democrat, but the state party focus is on things like gay rights, amnesty for illegal aliens, college money for illegal aliens, progressive teaching in our schools that diminishes the focus on God and country while trying to teach about Islam. Hell, they even threw a fit when Obama's middle name, Hussein, was to be printed.
In Texas the issues are about TEXAS and what is best for TEXAS. Don't be fooled by outsiders who want nothing more than our electorial votes in 2012, and to remove Perry because he stood up to Obama.

Seedtick - the Democrats have been for those things since the 1972 Election so are you saying you have voted Democratic all your life until just this election?????

It took 40 years of elections for you to figure this out and not vote Democratic?

I think you're lying, because no one can be that dumb.

I think you're lying, because no one can be that dumb.
You need to be careful with your name calling...unless you are an asshole.
Now, do you understand what a blue dog Democrat is? I think not. Let me educate you. We vote the candidate, not the party. Our party hates us...but they understand us, so they try to marginalize our impact on elections.
We will never be called Republican because we still believe in the little guy who works hard for a living...we just don't believe in a tax and spend welfare state like the liberals do. We do, however, believe that companies have a right to make profit...as long as they remember who helped them make that profit.
The "liberalization" of the Democratic party began with JFK...and the worst Democratic president up until Obama was Carter...and I voted for him. And I voted for Clinton the second time. But, I dropped Obama like a hot potato when Jeremiah Wright came to light. He is the most divisive president and the most harmful to the USA that we have ever had.
Your definition of Republican and Democrat seems to be a little off because you believe that all good party members should fall in lock step with their leadership....even when they are wrong.

There is no Democrat running in this. Where do you get "progressive"?
Libertarians are NOT Democrats. If you think they are, you need to do a LOT more research.
As far as that goes, the Republicans have no policy at all. It is not even on their website. The only thing they have to say is "We will do the same thing we have always done." which is a clear indication that they will put us into a deeper recession/depression than we are fighting to get out of now.
We have been screwed enough by the Republicans. If you are a real American, you would know enough NOT to vote for Republicans, no matter who else you choose, Green,Demo, Libertarian, ANY of them would be better than the Republicans.
At least they couldn't do as much harm as the Republicans have all through their rule.

Seedtick You're illiterate - read the very first line I wrote:

Seedtick you can't read so I won't expect you to be able to think. The political parties are useless only there to gain benefits for themselves.

It was the last line you wrote that gave insight into your thinking. It let me know that you were most probably lying. One thing is for sure....you are a liberal who wants a progressive agenda instituted in the school system of Texas.

Seedtick you remind me of my dog - you repeat the same stuff over and over again without any ability to read.

The link I gave you shows the editorial and its clearly written from a CONSERVATIVE - NOT WASTE MONEY Standpoint. Every single one of the school board members who passed this resolution at our county voted REPUBLICAN as far back as I can remember.

I can predict your response "You're a liberal" and my dog wants more food...

Yeah, and you sound like a Flour Bluff reject. And you must remember that the Independants and Tea Party people are loudly screaming at the rest of us...extremism will not be tolerated, be it ultra-conservative or ultra-liberal. Blue Dog Democrats like me have been thinking that way for years...that is why Republicans and liberal Democrats hate what we do.
I am beginning to believe that you are a "border player." You know what I mean...lawyers, local politicians, businessmen, church groups, landlords, etc. who try to build their career upon the backs of illeal aliens...and their Hispanic protectors.

You can't read and you can't think so you just make stuff up -never putting your name so you could be held responsible.

I'm not sure I've ever been to Flour Bluff unless its part of Corpus. I'm a non-paid school board member however as you still aren't able to follow a link or read. You'll just have to continue to make up lies.

Daily Horoscope for June 1

Sagittarius

You're in a highly emotional state today, Archers, but what you want may not be what others are after. Jupiter is out of favor, so don't be tempted to insist that you get your own way, or that you are somehow a special case. Work in harmony with loved ones, and all will be well.
