Meet the candidates in the McKinney City Council race

Since when, is a seat contested because there is more than one individual running for a city council seat? The signs of Apathy in our community are clear in many ways. A taxpayer who is already dealing with the false promises of the MPAC project by our current city council members, with a shortfall of over a half million dollars a year to the McKinney taxpayer. Of course, Mrs. Sherry Tucker-David is a wealthy individual who has the upercrust approach to the average taxpayer's concerns on projects, such as this. Which brings us to best choice in the running for the "at large" city council position, and that is Mrs. Gore, who represents the "Civil volunteer server" approach in applying for this position. She has no "self-interests" in running for this position, other that honest public service. Vote for Mrs. Gore for the "City council person, At-Large."
