If you disagree with this total boob, (joe, McKinneyvoter, I mean McKinneytaxpayer, conclusion), you must be a total jerk or a total jerk-water. Ginger, what is a jerk-water, sounds like a term used by the uneducated. He really needs spell and grammer check on his computer if he was smart enough to know how to use it.

I think perhaps he doesn't know English very well, but there is no call for him to be so rude.

mckinneyvoter wrote: Who ever rode this article used a poor choice of words in saying the "at-large-seat" is "contested." Since when, is a seat contested because there is more than one individual running for a city council seat? The signs of Apathy in our community are clear in many ways. One, two seats that the candidates are running in the slots as the only candidates for that position. Two, career politicians represent total "self-interests" in continous running for city council seats. Mr. Huff, you need to retire to your McKinney Airport interests and give the overburden taxpayers of McKinney a break with many of your council votes that were for the benefit of your airport interest rather than the tax-payers of McKinney. Mrs. Tucker-David is a nice individual, but her main focus being on being the question of the participation in the Arts Project has been decided "more than once" by the McKinney voters to the negative. Since her husband is a big developer in the area, side by side with other developers in the area, this project will represent millions in profits to their individual pockets, and more negatives to McKinney taxpayers. A taxpayer who is already dealing with the false promises of the MPAC project by our current city council members, with a shortfall of over a half million dollars a year to the McKinney taxpayer. Of course, Mrs. Sherry Tucker-David is a wealthy individual who has the upercrust approach to the average taxpayer's concerns on projects, such as this. Which brings us to best choice in the running for the "at large" city council position, and that is Mrs. Gore, who represents the "Civil volunteer server" approach in applying for this position. She has no "self-interests" in running for this position, other that honest public service. Vote for Mrs. Gore for the "City council person, At-Large." I have so many more interests/issues than just the ACC project. If you bothered to know me, or learn of the many things I get involved with, you would know how wrong you are. Have we met? Can you personally say that you know me to possess 'an upper crust approach to taxpayers concerns?" It's so easy to put comments out there when one can remain anonymous. What a cheap shot. You don't think I pay taxes? You think it doesn't infuriate me that the MPAC is not being run as it should? I have no control over it...I just put my money and time into making it something other than a crumbling in, flea and asbestos invested historical gem. I have to not only stand by and watch with no control over my investment..but I have to take comments like yours. BTW: My husband is a real estate investor, not a "big developer," DO YOUR HOMEWORK.
