What a waste of an extraordinary life, it seems a person is not safe anywhere from a crazed individual.

Hope he recovers fully and is able to get on with his life; he is young and has so much more life to live.

I pray this good man recovers. It was needless tragedy and the Army dropped the ball on monitoring the terrorist doctor.

One must be an outstanding soldier and leader to be taken from the ranks of the enlisted and sent off to officers candidate school. I am sure that far less than 1% of enlisted persons earn that opportunity.

Thank you for your service to our country soldier.

You can be my hero every day of the week.

Hey, slow down.

Barrack Hussein Obama said not to jump to conclusions.

The media has given 100 reasons why it wasn't the poor Dr.Hasan's fault.

It was Bush's fault.
It was the Amy's fault.
It was everybody's fault except the Muslim terrorist.

See?

This Hasan man was not a terrorist. Stop trying to portray this as a terrorist attack. He was simply a crazed, mentally ill man who needed help. Just like many of the other people who committ mass shootings.

So are you telling me if a Christian attacks a Muslim in the streets , which has happened before it is a terrorist attack? What about US Christian soldiers killing innocent Iraqis who are Muslim?Such a double standard in this country full of hypocrites.

This is not the place for political disputes. Pick up a pen and write a check to help out Staff Sgt. Zeigler. I just did.
Hawaii peeps are very special, we will come through and show our support for Ssgt. Zeigler and our military. Please pick up a pen today, this Veteran's day!

No, but when you correspond with radical clerics calling for terrorist attacks on non-Muslims, call suicide bombers "heros" and give presentations on how America and its Army is waging war on and oppressing Muslims, how can you defend this action as not terrorism?

Any negativity surrounding Islam is borne by Muslims (who are the majority) like you who are apologists for these scum of the earth. If you don't like the way Islam is portrayed, stop being complicit by defending idiots.

The mailing address is correct but it is American National Bank ... not America National Bank as written in the article. Checked it on the internet to see if the bank is legit.

It saddens me to know that that this young man who serves his country to give me my liberty and freedom, is in a hospital recovering from such a tragedy that occurred in America. God Bless You and may he be the greatest physician of all. I will keep you in my prayers. You are Hawaii Hero. Aloha.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
