Settling cruise bill has been rough sailing

When I got home there was bill from Celebrity waiting for me. It had incidental charges of $432 and $4,131 for medical. I called Cindy and asked her to charge $432 to my debit card and to send me an itemized medical bill to submit to my insurance company. She said that would be OK. The next day I checked my debit-card account and it was negative $3,200!

When are folks going to learn when the right time is to use a debit card as opposed to a credit card? I have never liked the idea of them, and I am at the point now that I won't even consider the use of a debit card!
Folks, use a credit card for these types of expenses. This way you have the backing of the credit card company in the event of a dispute with a merchant. With a debit card you are not forwarded with the same protection, as that money is pulled out of your account immediately! With a credit card (unless it is a business/corp credit card) you pay the first $50-$100 and the rest is tied up between the credit card company and the merchant during the dispute period! That is how to hit 'em where it hurts, buy causing the credit card company not to pay them if you are disputing a charge! Git rid of your debit cards, and don't allow businesses/merchants access to your hard earned money!
As customers, we may not have many rights left, but we still have a few....

Just do a search on "Patrick J. Torre" on the Orange County Comptroller's website. You will see many judgements against him, he is a total scumbag. BEWARE!

I have a judgement from Pat Torre and he has not paid me for over 4 years. Do not do business with this man! He is a sociopath and preys on people from whom he steals and lies. I can personally attest to the fact that Pat is a scumbag. All you have to do is go to the Orange County Comptroller's website and do a search under his name or his wife, Irma Torre's name. You will see that have numerous default judgements against them. They lie and steal from others to finance their lifestyle. A quick search shows a judgement against them for $24,000 plus interest on 4/11/2007 and many others. Does this sound very Christian to you? Go to the Comptroller's website and look yourself before judging, you have been duped by them.

Patrick John Torre and Irma Cartaya Torre both think they can get away with the fraud, money laundering, and other serious crimes they have committed by praying on innocent people. After church yesterday I spoke the Torre's about your posts because I wanted to speak directly with them and see where all this was coming from. I already knew of their many debts, as many of my friends in the real estate business have had similar problems. In fact I have lost a sizable amount personally over the past year. What surprised me was the information that lead me to you Mr. GFL, or should I call you Larry!
After checking on public records about you I found your Hospitality business had a handful of judgments and business ethics violations against you.
Now I do not know the specifics about your personal violations and judgments, but I assume they are as valid as the Torre's since they are public record, and I suggest anyone reading this blog search Larry Stuart/Hospitality and see for yourself.
To anyone reading all this silliness, please know that I never intended to respond any further from my first writing but following these discoveries I felt compelled to do so, if only to show the source these defamatory comments are coming from.

Patrick Torre is a crook and a liar. He is has over five million dollars worth of judgments against him, how do you explain that? He has pending lawsuits for STEALING INNOCENT PEOPLE'S MONEY! Why don't you stay out of other people's business? Didn't Jesus ever teach you to mind your business? I want you to consider what Pat did. Pat contracted us to do some services for him. After seeing his terrible credit we told him it would be cash in advance. He gave us a worthless check and before it cleared we performed the services he asked us to do. This is stealing.

I find it shocking that you would mention scripture. Because of people like Pat and Irma Torre who write worthless checks we have had to lay off some innocent and hard working employees. I looked up Larry G. Stuart the registered owner of Stuart Hospitality, Inc. and I see no judgements, fingerprint cards or liens on him or his wife or his business either in Orange County or in the entire state of FL.

Sometimes we wonder if Pat Torre feels guilty at all about what he has done, whether or not he has any conscience, but I don't think so. It's even more odd that he would involve his two daughters, Stefanie and Christy, brother, and in-laws in all of this mess. It's a very sad family, especially since they all know about his crimes. I wish the police would act faster, I know our lawyer, just one of many on the case, is trying very hard to bring in more attention to the bad deeds of PAt and Irma Torre.
