Detroit automakers will need more than congress to help them with asian automakers, congress will not be able to help them make better cars than toyota !!! Yes detroit automakers are making alot better cars and trucks than 5 years ago they are showing big improvements but the foreign automakers are not standing still so detroit will never catch up with them. But keep trying your future depends on it.Maybe one day I will buy from a detroit automaker but not in the near future because I just bought a new toyota camry that ROCKS.

I don't like what you said Brian, but I just cant defend the union slugs in America that make our cars. In reality, we should buy as much American products as possible to support our own jobs. In Michigan it is all linked to the auto industry. The problem is that foreign cars can be produced much cheaper, which leave monies to apply to quality. I live and work near Detroit, I often go into a store for a slice of pizza for lunch across the street from a car plant. I see a lot of the car workers buying booze for their lunch break, I have even seen them smoking sh.t, then going back to work. Other countries don't have the union or the A.C.L.U. to protect these low lifes, and that is why we can not compete! When you make $15 an hour, how can you pay for a car that cost at least $75 an hour to build? I really don't feel sorry for they idiots who were told to vote for Granholm and now find themselves without a job!
