What type of a place is Alturas to relocate to?
ASre there jobs?
I am looking to get away from urban areas, and am single and gay...would this be accepted in Alturas?
I'm no activist, but I don't hide who i am, either.

Alturas is a small town of 2,000, The gays are few, but not hung, cowboys and Indians, who at times still fight., jobs in the prisons. other than that, not much easy desk jobs, but hard work, like chopping wood in the freezing cold and baling hay in the horrible heat.
health care is going bankrupt. and many travel to redding and Reno to take care of their their doctors.

Oh, I did not say "hung" I said they are not abused in the schools. My daughters went to the high school and there were people who they knew that was gay and they did not see any trouble, but I don't know. but I would not be gay out of respect to our designer and I think ones private life should be kept private

That was last year darl'n, done broke everyone at those prices. This year every one has sold their stock, so no ones buying, expect to pay a lot less.

Smart that you kept the goats. Milk goats I presume? Horses might come in handy for transportation as well as the llama for packing. I prefer Donkeys though.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
