The youth of today is worst bunch of hoodlums ever created by man and woman.

How unfortunate that a group of "men" aged 15 to 17 would be so cruel to attack an innocent man from behind, on bicycles no less.
Many of the youth of Inwood, black and white, along with their parents, are nasty hoodlums with no scruples. Just nasty self-centered ignorant people. Is it like this all over Long Island? What could make these kids do something like that to an innocent man, then steal his cell phone after being scared away by a passer by? It makes me sick to my stomach to think I might actually know the perps (though I do not at this point). I hope they are caught and brought to some real justice, not just the kind they get in our schools, what a joke on the decent people. These thugs run Inwood.

Why is race so important? Thugs are thugs, black, white, hispanic, catholic, jew whatever. Criminals come in all colors. It would be nice to know they have been caught, the police are probably afraid of them - everyone else should be.

No. Race is very important. The majority of violent crimes in the USA are committed by black and hispanic people. The majority of criminals and inmates in our prison systems are black and hispanic people. There very obviously and clearly is a race issue here!

The majority of the minorities are in prison for non-violent drug offenses. The same charges that people like you get probation, community service or a stern talking to, minorities go prison for that's the reason the minority prison population is so high. According to the DEA the largest numbers of illegal drug abusers are White Americans, yet the majority of people in prison for drug offensives are minorities primarily Blacks,something is wrong with that picture. Of course the bottom line is if you don't do the crime, then you won't do the time. Which is how many people of all stripes live. The legal system is unfair and racist that's a fact. You can also go to the Innoncent Project and see the number of innoncent Black men being released from prison thanks to DNA.You are wrong on many levels.

black men between the ages of 15 and 50 commit (approx) 60 percent of the murders in the usa. those are FBI numbers that the liberal news media NEVER mentions. i first heard it from former nyc mayor ed koch. i checked and they're accurate. we have GOT to start telling the truth!

funny. you can't comment on the article about the 85 year old woman mugged by a 'thin man'. they claim to have video and still frames but I didn't see them with the article. newsday continues to protect black criminals but the white doctor who put cameras in the bathroom...his picture is all over the place. newsday.....liberals at their best.

SOrt of helps when there is a wanted felon...might want to mention race. Most criminals are black.

Most criminals caught are black there are many Bernie Madoff's around. The white criminals are just better they won't beat you up for ten dollars.They will just shake your hand and smile as they take all of your lifes investments.They control the media and direct all of the crminal acts toward minorities.

I'd rather have my hand shook then jumped on and beaten down from behind.
