SLO County Gets a Bad Grade

Why is this such a suprise to anyone? My daughter cannot even get into the nursing program at Cuesta until the Fall of 2007 or Spring of 2008. She was immediately accepted to Boise State University, but she would have to leave all of her support system in the form of her family and friends. This with a husband and two small boys. In addition, the pay for nurses here is well below the average in other areas (as is the pay to doctors). How do you suppose they are to support themselves and afford housing?? The issue needs serious consideration and appropriate action, not consistently stating the obvious. Work on resolution, increase school funding to accomodate more students and pay nurses appropriately for their hard work and dedication. That, in the least, would be a start

Ask what if anything is done to promote safe X-rays, disappearance and unreported radioactive materials, worker exposure to chemicals and radioactive waste which is stored on site, about water with high radon/radium levels, radon tests and mitigations that you are not aware are doing you more harm than good.
For example Delaware's high cancer incidence and high mortality rates are due to reasons known to all of us in Health Agencies. It gets answered by bandaid deals like cancer task after cancer task....what are they doing whiling away their political term, yet to give the state more childhood cancers, rare forms of cancer.
