Didnt go to her so-called dance hall and wont give her a penny from our family at the skating rink either. Ive never heard any of my kids ever ask to go skating ! lol That's some kind of Disco-mania crap to them. lol

She complained about the arcade and pool hall having teenagers run around half dressed, making out with each other, drugs, and everything else. I hope she has a plan for her place because if they claim it happened at the pool hall it will happen at the roller rink too.

she will have to run them off if they hang around outside and don't come in.it will not be easy to keep kids in line now days.I REMEMBER going skating it was soo much fun-she can't act like they are at a church or they won't come anymore--might have to play a little rap with a few dirty words in it--thats what the kids listen to every day..EASE UP THERE TONI!!!

No she won't HAVE to play a little rap with a few dirty words in them. There are nice people around this town who doesn't enjoy listening to rap and the DIRTY words. Grow up. Some of us like nice music and we do act like somebody. We don't think its cool to be a THUG.

I agree if you do not treat it like a nazi camp then it is going to fail there is not enough "good people" in the area who will go skating. Maybe bull riding or a rodeo would fit the area better and last longer. It could be a new cave city record. The fastest business to fail. Failed even before it opened. Good luck a survey would have been better to take before deciding what new to start.

After the mess Toni and Betty stirred up with Todd on the city council, I wouldn't spend a dime at anything she had a hand in.

hey Rebecca...i was there that night every thing that they did was uncalled for you were not doing nothing wrong she put you out along with 7other girls and two boys by the time they got done the place was almost ementy they were very Rude o all the young kids

well they are a tad bit rude there but i would kick you out to i have seen you dance and it is nasty dont nobody need to see that i mean you have a kid if she was like 11 and saw that and then did that infront of a bunch of peopel you would understand

I guess you dont let the kid watch tv, go to school, or anything else if you want to shelter your child. This ia 2009 and it is time people realize that the younger crowd is changing america and that is how it is...time to accept it and moveon because they are americas future.

I usually agree with you Grams but you missed it this time. The way you are talking we should just go ahead and teach our kids how to smoke crack because everybody else is doing it at school and on tv and in dark alleys. Just because the kids want change and want different things doesn't automatically make it good or safe or right.

I never said let your kids do drugs. But to make them aware of the dangers of it would be a good idea. I did mean that the younger crowd whether it be teenagers or young adults want things different. Such as they way they dance or talk or dress. They see violence and crap on tv so why shelter them from it in real life.
Now if you dont want your child seeing dirty dancing or hear swearing then you might as well lock them in the house and keep them out of the public. As far as rap music it is here to stay and it is time to get use to it because we will be hearing it until the day we die. If all the parent has on their mind is drugs, drugs, drugs then again they need to wake up and realize drugs are here to stay and it is time to educate more. Every top government official has already said the war on drugs is a war they will not win but use as an excuse for funding. So if drugs are here to stay the next step is education on th effects of the drugs.

If you only knew how many kids are abusing drugs you would be shocked. You have some abusing street drugs and others abusing prescriptions. Some are taking the prescriptions right under your nose and even taking the parents pills.

If you run a business like a nazi and dictate how a person can dance or have fun when it is not illegal or harmfull to anyone then your business will fail. Thats like saying you can buy this bbq but you have to eat it on a bun or I will throw you out. It is all about control.

going to sad with the dance gone. Went there when I was a teenager, but a roller rink could be fun. I thinks she will do fine with that. Best of luck to her.

i cant wait till it opens, ill be there and im bringing my kids. as long as its a peacfull place to go and skate around, i think it will be a winner.
