The "building fell" because the owner neglected to correct structural issues that could have prevented it. He was too busy trying to buy more property up than maintain the real estate he already owned. He lives in a half finished house but continues to purchase more property in town that he can let deteriorate to the point it falls down. His neglect of the city's real estate should result in him being banned from acquiring any more real estate here. Really it should be a crime to let national landmarks fall down. The owner is too scatter brained to do anything with it. That tip money only goes so far.......
