Your right. I'm not saying that marijuana will cure addiction. But if the laws on marijuana were loosened, it would make marijuana more available. And since it's not as available as it used to be, more and more young people are trying pills that are highly addictive and have physical dependencies.

People have smoked in this area for years and no real crime hase come from that but when the law gets involved viloence is the outcome

there is legal weed in dark wings... its called serinity or black magic. It's the same thing as weed... minus the thc... but has the EXACT same effect.

ok for you who wants marijuana legalized, look at it this way, there is those who takes their pain pills, sells them illegally to get the pot, i should know their is one such person who lives where i live, she is a fine example of someone who should rot in jail for the rest of her life. she has done pot and cocaine all due to the money obtained illegally through her percocet/loracets.
she knows who she is, she thinks she knows who she is, she's a druggie/user, if you think marijuana needs to be legalized then get rid of her and people like her but until then my hopes is that marijuana will never be legal in kentucky

so, you agree with the "punish the whole class, rather than the bad student" ideals? So based on your logic, we should also make alcohol illegal? How about locking our children up so that sex offenders can't get to them? My point is that there will ALWAYS be people who act irresponsibly regardless of the circumstances (drunk drivers, sex offenders), why punish EVERYONE for their actions? There are PLENTY of responsible adults who use cannabis. You just don't know about them BECAUSE they are responsible. The herb is illegal, so why would they throw it out there that they use it?

legalize it.... it is in no way as bad as the oxy's. I would rather see people smoke that then be pill head zombies walking around town anyday! Not only that as bad as it sounds the gov. could tax it and get American out of the whole. I have never seen anyone smoke and die but I have seen them drink, drive and die. What a mellow place it could be.
