is barbara church is the best and always will be a lot of teachers at catlettsburg are rude don't care about the kids but barbara church does she always has she was a great teacher when i had her a great teacher to my kids also A GREAT TEACHER BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!!

the worst is mrs rudey she is mean she don't care how she treats the kids she has sent alot of kids home crying everyday because she put them down or said that they where poor and needed to make good grades so they wouldn't be poor like there mom and dad when they got older she needs to learn respect and don't say things like that to kids also she needs to tell parents the problems that the child is having not the whole class that down grades a child and i think it is emotional abuse i think someone needs to teacher her how to teach....

WATCH YOUR CHILD IF THEY HAVE MRS. RUDIE BECAUSE THERE SELFESTEM WILL GET LOWER I KNOW ABOUT 20 KIDS THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TOO AND THE SCHOOL DOSEN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. MRS.PRATER KNOWS ALL ABOUT IT AND SO DOES THE SCHOOL BOARD BUT SHE IS STILL A TEACHER I DON'T SEE HOW SHE DOES NOT CARE HOW SHE TREATS KIDS

The best teacher is Miss Fields. HOWEVER the worst is Mrs. Rudie, my child was in her 5th grade class. She is absolutely horrible. The kids hate her, the parents want to see her unable to be around children. She is ridiculous, a smart mouth witch, hateful, rude, and absolutely has no business teaching kids. My child dropped in self esteem, grades, etc. Mrs. Rudie was constantly giving my child a hard time and I cant tell you how many times I had it out w/ her, and Mrs. Prater. Since my child left that school, my child's grades have came up, my child's esteem is unreal. I warn everyone change schools if you have Mrs. Rudie, you do NOT need to put your child through the emotional abuse this woman puts on the kids...GOD I cant say enough bad things about her as a person but especially as a teacher.

Why in the world will BC do nothing about Mrs. Rudie? I have personally seen kids (past and present students) talk to other teachers about Mrs Rudie and the teachers shake their heads and agree that this woman is horrible..yet nobody does anything about her.

We had a wonderful experience at CES. I have had 2 children go through that school and have nothing but the best to say about it and the staff. My youngest had Ms. Rudie. Yes, she was stern but that is probably what he needed at the time.

There is a difference between stern and emotional abuse! I have personally been in class when Mrs Rudie told a girl to SHUT UP and screamed at her, I have also witnessed her talk down to a male student who has ADHD and didnt turn in his work, she talked down to him for a good 5 minutes in front of the class. I have never wanted to help a child so bad in my life.
She does NOT need to teach children

The best teacher ever was Mrs. Naughgle but she had to retired due to her health. There will never be one better than her.

Mrs. Bowling was the best. I wish she was around to teach my youngest.

That school is full of wonderfull teachers &both of my kids had mrs. Rudie and both had great years with her some people need 2realize teaching a child takes cooperation from both parents and staff for the child 2 reach their potential! It's this "us against them mentatality" that makes a teachers job even harder than it already is and kills any sense of school and community pride that catlettsburg so badly needs

Mrs. Naughle was the best teacher i had the whole time i was in school. Even throughout middle and high school she was probably my favorite. Also Mrs Fields was great too.
