What part of Womans Army Corp do you not understand LBS. Perhaps you really are the age of a boy scout. See looong time ago, when the earth was still cooling, the military was not gender neutral. Took awhile for us to get over our racism in the military too. So there was the United States Army and the United States Womens Army Corp, they just started to integrate the genders when I was getting out. I'll be glad to let you know when I plan to visit the wall LBS - double dog dare you to try to keep from looking up friends, relatives and generally paying respects. And you never did answer my question about the phrasing of that last sentence. Just bogus bluster. I'd say man up but these pesky anonymous postings - for all I know you're a bored 13 year old girl.

Oh Donna, Donna. When the Wall visits Berkeley I'm sure you'll be the first to spit on it.

Just can't answer that simple question can you LBS. If you phrased it improperly, no big deal. Everyone makes mistakes. For example, I'm sure your parents still love you.

Donna is just another typical bitter "you owe me" Veteran that should have applied years ago for VA benefits, but chose not to and now she wants them. Remember PPPPPP. Poor Donna.

been there - why would I apply for a benefit from the taxpayers that I was able to provide for myself? Hopefully you can answer a simple question better than LBS.

FYI... My mom was a WAAC&WAC who served in the European theater in WW2. She was also a service connected disabled vet.
WACs are not a new entity.

Hooaaah Dean and VVA chapter 951 for their effort in procuring the moving Wall for our Lake co.

This is my 2nd time being in an area in which the wall has been displayed. Our VFW post 6024 arranged the visit to Mission Viejo.
We (the community) read ALL 58k+ names in a 5 day (24 hrs a day) vigil of rememberance. My time was 0300-0430 on a foggy, drizzling Sunday morning. The only thing missing was a bugle call for an attack from the NVA.

Dean attemped to coordiate a reading of the names during this visitation of the moving Wall. The silence from the community was deafening.

This is a time for rememberances, not petty bickering, disagreements and arguments.

Keep in mind ALL wars start with bickering, disagreements and arguments.

lest we forget
peace all

ps.. The motto of the VVA is "Never again will one generation of Veterans abandon another"

A big "Welcome home" to all vets. We are here for you.

Yes, much appreciation to those bringing the Wall here. Even more appreciation to those on the Wall. That is, after all, the point of the Wall. And much appreciation to those who fought in Vietnam and returned to an ungrateful nation. The irony is that many of the people who spit on these guys, called them "baby killers" and who scorned them for their military service will be visiting the Wall. Maybe they've figured it out. Maybe the soldiers did what they were ordered to do. Maybe they were wrong. Well, they were wrong, no maybe about it.
From a family member of a Vietnam Vet I agree with you 100%

Jim, you seem a little more manic the last couple of days. Is everything alright? Have you been taking what Donna Waddlebutt says as gospel again. She is one of the local howling banshees you know, like eats shlt and barks at the moon.
