Irvine Robbins, of Baskin-Robbins ice cream fame, is dead

The man who helped build the 31-flavor craze at ice cream store Baskin-Robbins has died at age 90.

WOW! the guy that put diabetes in a cone is dead, it's long overdue.
He put diabetes in people had them die before him and now he's there. Natural causes, the irony!

First, my condolences do the Robbins family... he brought millions of smiles to people throughout his lifetime.
As for the author of this article, I gotta say, the title is pretty darn BLUNT, if not disrespectful to Mr. Robbins. He lived a very long and prosperous life, and the least he deserves is a more suitable title for his obituary.

I lied about my age (back then it was easy) and he gave me my first job...$0.70 CENTS PER HOUR!!! What a nice hard working man...$.70 and all of the ice cream I could eat...you ate ice cream for 2 reasons...1 to try the flavors, but most important was to get the 'dip' just right...not too much, not to little. You had to learn how to build the structure so scoops wouldn't fall off of each other....
