A candlelight vigil in remembrance of her. I wouldn't worry- the murder definitely has it coming to him. I would be shocked if he didn't get the death penalty considering the nature of the crime.

I am Vernell baby mom we have a 4 month old baby 2 gather i knew some of his family but he was never mean 2 me he helt my hand thru labor, He was the perfect guy 2 me the sad thing 2 me is that my daughter will never see him just like steph parents will never c her again IM sure his mother will get him out they r real close.I love vernell somuch he told me he never loved her she just gave good head RIP n peacs steph Vernell(buddy)love-miss u i'll kiss the baby 4 u LOVE U (BOO)

That is awesome, I was hoping they would do that for her. I don't think I will attend because of the location, it was such a horrific crime that entire area seems scarey and evil to some of us, but I do think it is wonderful that a candle light vigil is being done for her. Someone needs to contact news teams 2, 4 and 5 st. Louis and maybe they will film the vigil. I feel they should because of the horrible way she died and the fact it was all over the news.

I have seen this before. My family lost a cousin a few years back at the age of 17. She was stabbed 86 times while she drove her car down 55. The man who took our Linda, is now in jail being protected by walls and armed men. However, she no longer lives while he can't even get in a car wreck, let alone die from 86 stab wounds. I hate that he is sheltered and going to live a long life while hers was over at 17 years old. The outcome of all this is, the system will keep him safe for his mother to visit him and we go to the grave to visit her.

cin-cin that man doesn't deserve to see his kids, any monster like that doesn't deserve to see the light of day again. And how dare you to get on and make rude comments like that towards a dead woman. Let someone take your child away like that and I bet you won't be on here giving the monster support.
