Mom sentenced in Cub Scout scam

She is one of the parents that should never have kids,the young one will end up in a wonderful place like kids peace,only a mater of time till the young one graces the papers with wonderful news .great family

Only 23 months? You've got to be kidding! I am amazed, not only did she steal from the public she got her 7 year old child involved. She should be charged with child endangerment.

It is amazing the level of low some people will stoop to. She doesn't deserve motherhood. Toss her in jail and let a felony conviction follow her for the rest of her life!

This really gives people a bad sense for non-profit organizations such as Cub Scouts.

This woman cares only about herself and her drugs I too lived near her. I had words with her tmany times because her damn dog kept getting loose, it was almost hit on Broad Street she could have cared less, I can only image how her son was really treated if she couldn't handle a dog. She showed up at my door too asking for $ I said no sorry when I saw who it was. Just knew there was something not right.

First, the whole situation is disgusting. I really hope a child welfare organization is looking into the well being of that poor child. IF her judgment is poor enough to do this to her own child then I wouldn't trust her judgment regarding childcare.

to all of you who thinks this is funny.You think 23 months is too harsh. Well, here is my side of life with Sally Gombocz. I have seen things that many people couldn't dream of. I've seen more drugs & guns than anyone could imagine. When I was 5 my dad got lock up & things went from bad to worse. I had to see the whole Bethlehem
police force surround my house. They all had their guns drawn to pick up my father. I was watching Scooby Doo that morning, my dad kiss me on the forehead & told me he was going away for awhile & that I had to be the man of the house & watch over my sisters. I didn't know what was going on but started to cry because my dad had about 10 officers with guns pointed at his head. After he was put in the car I
didn't see him again. Sally being the mother of the year wasted no time bringing another man into the house. A guy by the name of Tony Herman who has about 13 kids from different women and that is no exaggeration & a rap sheet longer than your Wegman's receipts. Real scumbag, the kind of guy you want your kids to look up to. Thing were terrible at school, I was constantly teased for my father being in prison & all the mothers gossiped about my family. Tony started living with us & that's when it became a real nightmare. Things
looked all right on the outside, I went to St Simon & Jude
& never opened my mouth about the nightmares at home. I could write a book about all the stuff I've seen but you wouldn't believe me. My mother sent me up to bed early because my house was a hot spot for drugs & random strangers. I remember sneaking downstairs one night & seeing mirrors & syringes everywhere & when I asked the man what he was doing he told me medicine for the nose. I can remember being beat for being too loud at night, watching my mom being beat until she couldn't stand. I had a friend sleep over & Herman beat her so bad my friend peed himself. I
still remember that night vividly when my dad told me I had to be the man of the house. I picked up an 8 inch knife & told my friend that I was going to stab Herman. He cried & told me not to but to this day I still regret not
doing it. I remember my mom beating be for an hour for not being able to tell the time on an analog clock, my bike stolen and later found out that Herman did it for drug money, saving an $180 which got stolen & my mom saying the
neighbor must have done it, going to church with my wagon & getting food from the church and being embarrassed because I was so poor. I remember taking cold baths with my brother because the hot water was off or having to go to friends house because we had no water at all. I remember being beat every morning because I peed in bed, coming home from school
& seeing my mother passed out on heroine, being forced to driver Herman to pick up drugs at the age of 10 because he was too drunk to drive, seeing Herman beat my dog to death, not having food on the table, waking up on Christmas &
having no presents. I remember Herman buying food and not being able to touch it because it was his. One time I tried to get the last **** he quickly grabbed it took a bite & gave it to the dog & laughed, I remember cops
coming to the house looking for Herman while he hid in the cubbyhole & my mom telling me if I told the police she would beat the **** out of me. I remember barricading the door at night because people were looking for Herman, boiling
pots of water & taking them up stairs to have about 2 inches of bath water for me & my brother. I remember being beat with a bat, hanger & extension cord.

PART 2 FROM HER OTHER SON.
POOR KIDS TO BE RAISED LIKE THIS. AND I BELIEVE THIS YOUNG MAN I KNOW SALLY AND THIS BOYS FATHER
I guess I was still too young to comprehend it all. If you thought it end there is doesn't. This list goes on and belongs in a horror movie. Stuff I don't even want to remember. I remember crying myself to sleep and asking God to take me away. Everything I have told you is the truth with no exaggerations. It's
not even the tip of the iceberg but if I told you the half of it you wouldn't sleep at night because I still don’t. My mom is the woman who dressed my brother up as a boy scout to collect money which was more than $69.00. She has caused me more pain & embarrassment than anyone could ever know. Even from Oregon she managed to screw me over by taking a credit card out in my name and destroying my credit, she also did it to both of my sisters. I reported it immediately, gave the police her address in Oregon & was told nothing would be done. I even told the police that she was wanted on theft, child endangerment, fraud and drugs and it still didn’t matter. I just wanted to fill you in on suffering at the hands of Sally Gombocz and Tony Herman and ask if you think 6 to 23 months is excessive..

C'mon, this woman is not THAT bad. Now if she made the boy dress up as a Girl Scout and go around selling $3.50 boxes of cookies, containing mostly plastic packaging and 12 tiny snacks, well then, yes, I'd agree that she's a rotten piece of garbage.
