Accident on Pyka Road

Anyone know about a possible fatal accident on Pyka Road last night (April 24, 2009)?

There were certainly 2 fatalities. I am looking for news of how the others are doing. Is there usually an article in the Sealy paper about things like this?

Now hearing at least 4 fatalities, 3 from one family, a mother 40, her son about 10 and her daughter about 12. Something about a stolen car high rate of speed head on crash.

yes, it was head on but I thought it was a drunk driver incident. Please let me know where you are getting your information. I cannot find any news sources reporting about the crash. Thank you.

i know the clyde muntz that apparently caused the wreck. he has problems with drugs and alcohol so that could be a possiblility but they didnt perform an autopsy on him. my heart goes out to the bogan family.

dont disrespect the dead, he was a good man with a few problems we love and forgive hopefully he found peace. my heart goes out to all those injured jesus be with us all

I am very good friends with both of the girls and their families.Adriana is greatly miissed by the community and everyone at school is grieving.This was a common mistake by Clyde Muntz which will change evryones life here in sealy.I am grieving since both were the greatest.I wanna shake a finger at Muntz!!!!

All of those injured?? No sweetie, a man lost his family- wife, daughter and son and there is a 12yr old little girl who survived this mess who will have awful images she will have to live with for the rest of her life. I do not believe anyone means to disrespect your father in law, but please do not try to downplay his actions either.

i certainly hope you werent talking to me "im clydes daughter in law". you havent known freddie as long as i have. ive known him almost my entire life. and i definitely was being disrespectful. this is a tragic accident that im sure could have been prevented and it is extremely unfortunate that others had their lives taken from them so early in life. its sad that a man has just lost his family and my little brother is now without a father. i am truly sorry for everyone involved and my heart is with them.

i was by no means trying to "downplay" the actions of muntz. the phrase "those injured" was meant to include the ripple effect that this has had on the lives of not just those involoved but those left behind. i send my deepest heartfelt condolences to the family and friends in sealy. i am sorry that his mistakes in life cost you so much. I only recently met mr muntz, the saddness i feel is for his family. those left behind. and while i would like to shake a finger at him as well, i can only send my prayers to those who he has hurt beyond words. i am sorry. i pray for us all

this may have been caused by muntz. the cause isnt quite known yet. yes he does have a few problems but anything could have caused this wreck. hes also a heart patient and has had a pace maker for a few years plus he has had problems with his heart months before this. it may have been his fault but i think until more information is released and a cause is determined, i dont think anyone should be pointing fingers at anyone. this is a tragic time for a lot of people. lets not make it worse.

I want to know more about this Clyde Muntz guy, I cannot find an obituary on him or anything. My little brother was the one riding with him (Ricky) when the accident occurred.
My heart goes out to the families that where effected by this. It is so sad that innocent people lost there lives. I am truely sorry for the loss.

I hate to admit this but i am related to Clyde Freddie Muntz(by blood only). But, havent seen or heard anything from or about him in about 18 years.But you can trust this...Freddie was a drug addict,thief,and many more awful things in life and now the people who did know him can sleep at night knowing that he aint coming back.And i personally hope that he never Rests In Peace!

I was wondering because as it is my little brother, he is 23 but he has a lot of problems himself. But his are from birth and every time we try to get him help he takes off and this time he was picked up by this guy. And what 51 year old man picks up a 23 year old boy with mental disablities. And from what my little brother said the ride with him was anything but nice.

Not to be morbid, but I've been expecting something of this nature for 33+ yrs. Clyde was the bad seed of that family, without a doubt!Sex,drugs,alchohol,vanda lism and robberies followed his hard way of living.....Now murder gets added to the list. He abandonded his family and left his wife with 3 children to raise as best she could. I'm sos sorry that an entire family had to die to rid the world of that worm !
