OK. So I'm scanning the radio, and it stops on 92.7 FM. And I'm hearing Johnny B. Goode, so I think, hey, that's cool, I'll stop and listen. Well, I'm still listening. And they're playing it for the TENTH TIME!!!!!!!!!! What the heck is going on?????????? How about a NEW SONG!!!!!!!!!! And I know I'm stupid for listening, but I keep thinking a new song will come on!!!!! Help!

Help? How about quit relying on the radio and buy an mp3 player/cd's etc and listen to what you want, when you want and not having to rely on a radio station

This morning and last night it was non-stop Rock around the Clock. I could listen to that for at least a couple of hours.

I could listen to the radio if it wasn't entirely made up of classic rock stations over-saturating the airwaves with Zeppelin and country stations over-saturating us with...well, country.

hey usually do that when a new station is starting up, or an old one is changing. Remember z100 played showtunes/theme songs for a few days while it was switching to the eagle. and 107.5 played each song for several hours at a time when they were starting

They're running announcements saying "listen Monday morning at 7," so I guess we'll find out what it is then. I just hope it isn't something lame!

It's a new station that's part of the Mix, Fox, etc. They are now being called Jonesboro Radio Group. So yeah, something lame. We need something like 98.1 in Memphis

WOW! Way to judge before it's even on! I just said I HOPE it's not lame, but you seem to already know what it's going to be! Well, aren't you just the smart one! Next time we have an ice storm or tornado HERE, let's see if 98.1 in Memphis has all the latest info on what's happening HERE.

They should've kept playing showtunes, it would beat the hell out of the crap they play now.

they were playing showtunes while they made the rounds to all the flea markets and bought up all the 8-tracks that they play now.

There's no need to be a smarta$$...but if it was going to be a decent station, they would have decent songs playing. As for my statement about 98.1, I mean that in terms of the type of music they play. Reporting weather related info has nothing to do with it. The Buzz was a decent station when it was here, but I guess some folks didn't like that genre playing in Fort God ;P

Dang. Do you work there or something? Can't someone post an opinion without being jumped all over? The radio stations here ARE lame, especially KISS (even though it's not associated with the JRG) You can hear the same song twice in less than 2 hours.

98.1 is lame.I was tired of listenin to classic rock at work so I turned it to 98.1 and they was playin an even older song.We need some alternative music mixed with some old grunge music sprinkled with some metal.Somethin that rocks your socks.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Sagittarius

People around you may be insistent in their demands and they seem unreasonable, which in turn will lead to mental tension for you. There is the danger that this will dull your resolve, but the real path still lies ahead, beyond these temporary hurdles. Don't take this as a setback: there's no need to change your course of action.
