This is so sad. The parents of baby parker have gone threw enough and do not deserve to have someone take things from his final resting place. No parent deserves that. Its a sad place we live in that someone takes from the deceased, especially a innocent baby and their families. Prayers that they catch the person or people involved very soon.

That is sad. I can say speaking from experience that many times it's the mowers that take things off the grave and sometimes run the stuff over that are on the graves...leaving the decorations in pieces. It is sad, frustrating, and heartbreaking all at the same time. Our son is out there and honestly, it's like fighting a losing battle. It took much time, but I finally came to terms and found peace in the fact that our son is in Heaven and his grave is a place we can memorialize him. I still decorate his grave but I know that at some point, and many times it's within a few days, those decorations will be gone. My son knows that I come out there and bring things to his grave, even though they can't stay out there forever. When I go back and stuff is missing and in pieces, I just think to myself that the things went to Heaven....I know, that may sound silly to many people, but it is how I cope with this same thing that has been happening to this baby's grave. I really feel for this mother, I have been there and it's a rough road, no one should have to bury a child.

I'm very sorry for you loss, and I agree with you. I think its a good thing to remind yourself that when things come up missing or broken, that your baby now has those things in heaven, that's sweet. God bless you.

Such a sad thing to go thru after losing a loved one. Dear Sad; no it's not silly. It's how you find your peace after a tragedy. I have dragonflies that come in my yard that are black and white. i talk to them like i am talking to my friend Kris who passed away 2 years ago. It is my peace. God bless you .

Maybe it would help if the families of the loved ones memorialized there installed very small inexpensive motion activated security webcams hidden inside a floral arrangement or something? Not anything attractive enough to steal, but something placed at hip to eye level that records when movement is detected near their loved one's site? Either that or a trap door that swallows them up and shoots them straight down to Hell?

not saying it is the case in this case..

but..

i do know of a few "paranormal" groups in the area...

they for some reason go to graveyards and hangout looking for ghosts...

they do things in hope of pissing of some spirit, when in fact they piss off the deceased's family..

pissing on graves...
calling the deceased horrible names..

and yes..they do remove things from grave sites thinking that the deceased may have "attached energy" to the item(s) that may bring a ghost along...
methmouth is fun

Cemeteries do have rules about gravesite decor. Could this be the case? What cemetery is this happening?

i am telling you..start with the "paranormal" fanatics... they probably have items from the grave site with their nerd cams on it 24/7 hooked to their hard drive waiting for it to move..

Yes, this probably is the case. At least it was in our case, and it's the same cemetary. They have a shed out there that you can drive to and find the "missing items". 9 times out of 10, everything that is missing can be found there. It is hard to deal with when you are grieving, and I feel for this mother, as I said, I've been there. It's very difficult to lose a baby and the need to protect your child does not go away. It is St. Johns on maryville road.

It's the mowing crew. There isn't any paranormal fanatics out there messing with graves.

they were saying mean shit as if they were trying piss something off..and i startled them as one of the guys was pissing on a headstone..they took off immediately...

thatmay have happened there, but I assure you stuff like that doesn't happen in baby land at st johns. It is the people that mow the grass. I have dealt with this for 13 years out there.

I am one of the parents of a baby that is buried there. I believe with all my heart that it is the person or persons doing the mowing. That is my opinion, being someone who has gone through the same thing. It is heartbreaking and frustrating, I am sure there is no malicious intent, but it does not matter when you are a grieving parent. I understand the pain, I have felt it, i still feel it and always will. I hope the mother can find peace in knowing that her baby isn't physically here, but will always be a part of her and in her heart forever.

the person who made the story takes very well care of her lost loved ones grave and is out there on a daily basis. She is in contact with the owners often and i know they didn't remove these things because they are not aloud there. (i know they have taken lil ceramic angels that were out there) It could be the mowing crew, it could be some young kids out just messing around i don't know. I just hate to see the look on these families faces when they go out and see someone has stolen from their angel. Its just not right. =(

I also have a baby boy buried out there that we lost at birth and its been 11 yrs ago so I to have experienced this.. Sad to say but I do not leave anything other than flowers out there anymore because it does get destroyed and thrown away. I too believe that it is the mowing crew that is doing this I just think they are in a hurry to get the job done and carelessly mow around the graves not paying attentin to what might be on it or may have fallen off... I wish there was something that could be done but I really doubt it will change.

ya know...

i went on a camping trip to merimac caverns a couple years ago..

behind the KOA out there is a very old cemetery that still gets new clients..

several graves out there are occupied by babies and children..

it was clinching to see the amounts of toys left at each resting place..and some had been there for years untouched..

one headstone almost looked like the entire hot wheels section of any walmart..

the grounds crew does their job there and has never moved a piece..
