Yes, this area burned along with a 2 block area in the early 1980's. Dr. Terral's clinic was a part of that loss. Nothing was built in its place. To this day, the area is just a vacant concrete lot.

Sadly the main street in town is like a ghost town... so many empty bldgs. Hope that will change in the future. It use to be such a nice place to shop and visit with friends and neighbors.

I to remember this place in the 60s. It is truly a loss, such a beautiful place but burned down with so many other places
