We live in the part of the town that was least effected. Huge trees have been thrown from the ground and it looks like a war zone. There is no power or electricity and everyone I have seen looks to be in a daze. There are lots of police and work crews in town but it remains unclear when we will have power and water.
We had baseball size hail with the storm but rain fall was slight. Pray for us.

When I left the casino last night (I work there) when they closed it at 11:00 pm, that area of town looked okay. That said, it was dark and the town had no power. I could only see with my headlights.

From my understanding, the main damage was along S. Ward from about the high school toward I-155. There is lots of other damage, but that was where it ripped through.

Does anyone know if there is any cellular service? My parents live on Mooreland Dr, have heard from Dad and they are ok. My brother is on the way with chainsaws and a generator. I'm just waiting to see what I need to bring. Hopefully my brother can call out when he gets there.

Can anyone let us know about the little prairie cemetery. Has there been any damage there. I heard Knox's was no longer there. How terrible. My prayers are with my home town

We just called the community center and the phone there is working and they will tell you if your family has checked in or not. My family has not made it there yet, but maybe some of yours have. 573 333 9921

Mom and Dad live by the cemetery, they lost a 60 year old oak in their yard. Thank God it missed the house. I imagine the cemetery has trees down as well.

Fox news has a reporter in town. No pictures yet but should get some soon. He said one church downtown was missing a wall but did not say which one.

I talked to my family, who live on Stathwy D, and a friend of mine, who lives on S. Ward. Both of which i talked to on their cells. The cellular towers seem to not have been affected.

My mother is a teacher at the elementary school. according to her the schools will be out for at least 2-4 weeks, i wouldn't be surprised if it were longer. The middle school cafeteria is gone and the back side of the High School is severly damaged. the town was without water and power when i spoke to her an hour ago.

Friends can become lovers, and lovers can become friends while Sun and Moon blend well; unpleasant memories will fade under this happy influence. The Twins are notoriously fickle in affairs of the heart but can be remarkably faithful to a friend. The trick is to combine friendship and romance with the right, versatile person. A date with a co-worker will go well tonight.
