Grown people who don't have their drivers licenses!

This really get's on my nerves to no end! I understand certain circumstances that stop you from getting them. I am talking to the % of people that CAN get them but refuses to. How can you, being an adult, depend on someone to take you to the store, to the doctor, to work, when you are very capable of passing all the test required to get your license! Is it that much to work for you to read a small little book to get your permit? Does it require a lot of effort to practice driving so you can pass the driving portion on the test? Quite making excuses, get your lazy ass up, and get your license and quit depending on people for rides!!!!! Sorry, had to get that off my chest!

You must be the disgruntle person that feels put upon by the above subject. I suggest you tell the person to his/her face.

As a matter of fact, I have! Know your facts before you spout off at the mouth! I don't feel "put upon" as you like to say! I just get sick of seeing people who are ABLE to get their license, depend on others for rides! You must be the type of person who bums off others!

Well Jeremy banks your a du$$ a$$!! My grandmother don't drive and never has... I take her where ever she needs to go and proud of it!! Take crcare of your people, you may need a ride one day.

as small as that town is, and as fat as most of the people in it are, it wouldn't hurt for y'all to turn em down for a ride. unless they need one.

The gentleman was referring to people who don't have their license but they are capable and have the means to get one. The just don't for... NO REASON! He's not talking about elderly family members or those with unfortunate circumstances that prevent them from being able to operate a car. They just DON'T! There is no excuse for it!

I would much rather someone with no license get a ride with someone else than drive a vehicle with no license which means they won't be insured if they do cause an accident.

You people are really missing the point of this!

All you have to do is tell them no when they ask for a ride. Maybe they will get tired of walking and get their license. If not, who cares? Don't give them a ride.
