where the sheriffs deputies gets their gas, the man that runs the station is a convicted felon,so he can`t vote.So tell me clark don`t deal with shotty people,this is where your tax dollars are going.It doesn`t matter how we spell,bartow is now over run with curruption.Lets get him out and save bartow alot of embarsement.By the way he`s taking drugs off I-75.he`s not going to get them out of bartow county,wander why? can somebody give me an answer to this one.

Before this gets blown up to something other than what it should be, I will say that, yes, I am on that list. I'm not proud of it, but that happened nearly 12 years ago. I do not linger in other peoples past, but it seems like that people always want to bring up the past. I have been fighting this against cherokee county, because they screwed up and have said that they did not listen to the facts back then and rushed me through the court system. I am trying to go better my life now. When I was in court 12 years ago, the judge, lawyers, and the prosecutor all said that I was not a threat to anyone. But I have to defend myself all of the time. As for the side of my van, I am only showing some support for Millsap, because I know him and his family better than I do know the Evans family. Millsap knows what I am going through, and that he hopes the best for me. I paid my time, did community service at the time, and just want to get my life going in the right direction. What people don't understand is that there are many offenders that are living near you all, that was on the list but had their name taken off of it. There are offenders that hide from the list that are live near you. I do not hide the fact I am on the list. I don't dwell on the past of others, even though I know of alot of offenders and threats that are near most of you. Read in the Bible in the book of John chapter 8 verses 1-8, and you will read in verse 7, "If there is anyone of you that is without sin, let you throw the first stone." And all people talk about are offenders, but there are stalkers, perverts, peeping toms, murderers, stabbers, thieves, and many other threats out there that we need to be aware of, but there is NO list to show the public who they are. They could be your neighbor, or even a family member of yours, and NO I'm not trying to point a finger at any of you, but I think we should know who they are also.

Evans spent 20 + years working for the people of Bartow County and you have not heard a thing about him lying and taking money that did not belong to him. Or are you really a one sided, closed minded, Millsap supporter that is one of the ones coming out financially beneficial by Millsap staying in Office.

Recently returned from a trip out west. During my trip I spoke with numerous people about their local political arenas. In one discussion with an older gentleman I described our local Sheriff Millsap's issues. His reply "Is he stupid or just weak, a lawman is not one to disrespect, you must fear and respect the law". If the criminals within Bartow believe Millsap is stupid, weak, and don't respect or fear him, then we have a problem.
The Garmons were his closest friends and knew Millsap well. Regardless of Millsap's knowledge
of their crimes they believed in all of these. Other criminals have seen this and I assure you that this offers them comfort. I guarantee if you look within your life's experiences you'll remember a lawman that was smart, fearless, and his presence demanded respect.
I don't know the circumstances of Van Owners crimes, though he still blames the courts for not listening to the facts. He says that people who were on the list were able to remove their names, this concerns me. He speaks of people who hide from the list and he has knowledge of and he fails to turn them in. Whatever game you and Millsap want to play, I don't care, but it's wrong.
Gambler or Millsap, whoever you are, your only hope is that the people forgive you.

Darwin, the people that was spoke about on the offenders list that have been removed, are the ones that were on those list before the new laws took effect. At the time, those people were on the list for a period of time, given to them from the court. I to was given a time of ten years, but a new law was passed last year that would tyr to keep repeat offenders and threats to the community on those list for life, and I have not reoffended or is even a threat, but I have been held on the list. My lawyers have found out that I should have not have been placed on the list, for mine is a misdemenor and those that are on the list now all have felony charges, but me. The courts have agreed with my lawyer they screwed up 12 years ago, and all I am trying to do is correct the mistake they made. Sure, I messed up, but noone knows what was going on in my life at the time, except for my family, lawyers, the judge and the courts. As I said in the other post, I am not proud I am on the list, but I am. Since then, I do go to church, I read the Bible, and I help the community to the best of my knowledge. As for those names removed, you can do some research, and if you find the right websites, which takes a while to find, you can find that many people were on those list in the past. Many cops, lawyers, teachers, church leaders, politcians of whom you may have voted for, judges and many more were on those list. The facts are out there but are hard to find. Many people don't want you to know who they are, because they may be the one you look up to. And for you Gambler, I have respect for you, I agree with what you said. We do not need to try to hurt anyone for their past, but help them. You never know that the time you need help, that person just may be the one to help you. I face life one day at a time, but always look to the future, and never the past. Many of you will disagree with me, but look at yourself. Ask yourself if you would want someone to dwell in your past, or would rather have them help you when you are in a time of need?

the man in the van is trying to clear his name by helping millsap. what does he expect in return do you want to gamble on him not hurting some one you love maybe one or to years down the road .We have to little girls I don't want this sorry person removed from this list.or anyone else like him.also he will pay for what he did when he meets god.

Motor Mouth are you a nut, in your world we would have Habitual Violators as bus drivers, Child molesters as teachers, and criminals running the jails. OK, now I see why the past must be forgotten. For Millsap to remain as Sheriff we must forget the past. The way you make it sound everyone you associate with thinks it's OK to steal, assault, embezzle, or intimidate. Maybe that's the problem you idolize Millsap and think that's normal behavior. If you and Van owner admire him so much go ask him about the drug favortism issues, missing evidence, family violence, nepotism, warrant service, etc.....Get back with me and let me know how he took it and what he has planned for you. It hasn't worked out for the others in your shoes.
