Welcome to the real world young lady. And yes you and your associates do hold some responsiblity for the outcome in this incident. You are nothing but a puppet. But you are smart enough to realize that, but do you care. As long as you are part of the in crowd, I think that is all that matters to people like yourself. If you really wanted to do justice for the people, you would report what is really going on. Enough said. I live with things in my life, now you must do the same.

The news is the news is the news people. I don't know the reporter or the deputy who shot himself but a reporter's job is to report the facts and that looks like just what she did.

What happen is a tragedy, but I totally defend Ms Poulnot in reporting the story. This officer chose to take his own life (the easy way out) rather than dealing with he problems and issues that he brought upon himself. No families where destroyed by this article; this officer had been the destructive one, destroying his career and the relationships of the ones that once loved and cared about him.

If that's the case why did she wait two weeks to report it, after all he was put in jail Nov 4. Also any "average joe" who is arrested for stalking would not even be mentioned. Sounds like the guy that I don't know had mental issues and needed help. HOW SAD!!!
We all need to pray for this family...it's gotta be heartbreaking!!!

They have proof that he did it by his own voice on the disturbing phone messages he left and by the phone records. He killed his self because he was guilty. He saved the tax payers money as well as any other future victims of his stalking ways. Don't blame the reporter. Blame the stalker. Sounds like your a family member and you just don't want to accept the truth.

Yes, the story was news because of his career choice. So yes I'm not surprised by the story running. However, the reporter did nothing to actually tell the story beyond look at a few documents. Miss Poulnot should have been more thorough in her reporting, including allowing the accused to be interviewed. I doubt he was even called by her or anyone at that newspaper. The victim wasn't even interviewed for that story. She was obviously willing to speak to Channel 2 News so she couldn't have been that hard to find.
