Ex Deputy who was charged with stalking

I was told by someone who claimed to be a family friend that he took his life. Is this true? I sincerely hope not for his families sake he has put them through enough as it is. I feel very nosy asking this.

I'm an acquaintance of the family and it is true that he took his own life Saturday.

I was so hoping that this was not true and just flat out Gossip. I did see the story run on the News Friday night. Then I heard this and it just broke my heart. I love my brother to suicide not too long ago and the wound never heals. It is an act that may "free them"(this is what I have heard for years now) but it takes so much away from the family. It destroys parts of them for a long time and some don't ever get over it. Please let them know that this stranger has been praying for them and will continue too. When they are ready there is a great support group in Acworth I think it is the United Methodist Church and Cartersville has one too. Save this link for when they are ready. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all and will carry on for a long time to come. I just wish for their sake that this was not true...

I'm not quite sure why the site is reporting me at "peachtree city", but I'm from cartersville. It may just be they site randomizing the user's locations. topix.com is new to me, but I think I'm going to like it here.

I just hope it wasn't a weak case. I hope she said "don't contact me" and that that was documented long ago. Cops like to turn on other cops thinking they're "covering their asses." I hope they were right on this one or they've got allot to live with.

I was a friend of Mike's and this is an extremely sad situation. He was a good man and a great friend to me for over 20 yrs....okay, he made a mistake and was going through alot, but I'm remembering him for the past 20 yrs, not for the past 6 months. He made some bad choices, was depressed and needed our prayers. I will miss Mike, he was there for me so many times and was truly a good friend who unfortunately got on the wrong road. I'm praying for his family and for those friends who know what kind of man he really was!

To the victims of the stalking by this police officer, I hope you can rest without worrying now that this punk is gone.

Why do police officers feel they are above the law and don't have to follow restraining orders. To the ones who say he is a Good Man, tell that to all the women he was stalking and leaving sexually explicit messages to.

Dear A Friend, this was not just making a mistake as you call it. Making a mistake is putting on mismatched colored socks. Breaking the law, which stalking is, is way more than a 'oops my bad' mistake.

If it happened to someone in your family, you'd change your tune.

Stop trying to minimize what this thug did.
