Somebody, help. What did Santarina say? Maybe the council should hire an interpreter.

What he really said is ---this is just a delay--Carson residents beware -- this sales tax issue is not over -- count on it coming back.

Barbara need not resort to sarcasm and Carson resident need to give Santarina some slack...after all he has stood ground on many key issues like the apartment complex and championed the cause of the mobiehome park residents. He is simply saying that the people be given the opportunity to consider all the options before they decide. If you did not get that then it's time to re-study english before ridiculing others,

I don't think anyone is ridiculing Elito, we have just seen too many deals by some members of our city council that unfairly burden the citizens of carson while the business community contributes very little revenue to the city , for example warehousing paying only a business license of only $115.00 to $500.00 a year regardless of it's size and all the truck traffic they create, that's just one source of unexplored revenue, and they avoid the Home Depot ticket tax like the plague ... WHY?

Why would you have Watson Land and Carson Estates pay for a survey? That is like allowing the devil tell us what is good and bad. If Anshutz and the home depot was included the ticket tax would have been excluded from the survey. What is the Mayor thinking? The inmates (employees union)are running the asylum!! We need council members that are not influenced by special interests.
We have the best city council money can buy.

It is no secret that Mayor Dear and Councilman Gibson have greater Political ambitions and are using Carson as a stepping stone to further their political ambitions. After all, these rich businessman and developers have the money to contribute to their campaigns while the Carson working stiffs barely make ends meet.

Don’t think so because Elito Santarina has yet to master the English language and is extremely difficult to understand! If he is in fact a retired school teacher then he now has a lot of time to learn ENGLISH!

Mike Gipson has received THOUSANDS of dollars from Watson Land and Carson Estates...for his council runs and his Assembly run.

Barbara Ann wrote: Somebody, help. What did Santarina say? Maybe the council should hire an interpreter. Honestly, he often sounds clueless and impossible to understand. At least he hasn't been sent to Prison like Mayor Fajardo and Councilman Ontal. Those two disgraced the Filipino community in Carson. Lets not forget Sweeney! Who is Next?????
