I have lived 30 miles north of Dallas for about 15 years and have seen 1 deer. I was so shocked. Felt like I'd seen a alien or something. I've also run over a bobcat. Pretty big, and in town to boot. Made me a little more careful with my cute little dog.<quoted text>It surprised me to see a sign with a deer on it coming from Tyler heading for Corsicana.
Forty-something years ago we did not have any deer around here, somebody told me it was because of the great depression and they were ate up.

Hey Nrf, try to avoid running over ole B-Cat. Along with the coyotes, bobcats are helping us keep this area clean and clear of cats and wormy little dogs. The population of both seem to be increasing exponentially, by the hour, in SBR. |

I have to agree with you. I read the first few pages. Lot's of kind words about the father. Pretty sickening that someone would defend hios actions. What kind of retard forgets his child. Well since this awful day back in August of 06 it's happened dozens of times. A girl I grew up with did it in the next summer. Just checked her lil Myspace page and looks like she's doing okay !! Seriously folks no mercy on these people their sick in the head, more concerned with their dayplanners than their children. And all of the loving people in this world that would give ANYTHING to have a child to love. |

1 It happened in August 2006. The weather was HOT. That little boy literally baked to death. |

1 I believe these sick-o killers have found a way to legally kill their children....and outsmart the criminal justice system. Sure appears that way to me. This guy got off almost scott free, but the taxpayers got the bill for processing the paperwork. He walks free among us today. |

It's weird actually. Your passion for this baby is admirable. However, I've seen your posts about animals and how "bothersome" dogs are and such. I won't go into details. Makes me wonder if you're a troll at best. |

1 It's weird only for those who do not understand their real gender, or right from wrong. This innocent child had his short life snuffed out as a result of the total lack of responsibility on the part of one of two people who should have been protecting him from all harm. I do not dislike dogs....had a few as a boy growing up. Don't care for cats, period! I just think there are way too many this day and time....poluting the landside unnecessarily. I'm not trying to lure, or trick, anyone in to saying or doing anything they are not inclined to, how 'bout you? Go ahead and go in to details. I think we would like to hear what a perveted twist you put on this serious subject. Are you trying to lure or trick some female to go same-sex with you? Don't try to divert attention away from the real subject, as others have tried desparately to do on here. The sorry way that child was allowed to cook to death in a hot car in August 2006, really bothered me; as well it should have bothered you and all sane, thinking americans with any sense of decency or moral fiber. But...no one ever accused you of having either, now did they? I disagree with your lesbian lifestyle. Along with dogs and cats, there seems to be way too many of them as well. Let's rock! |

Yep, troll. My personal life has nothing to do with your nonsense. And your "lure" comment, is laughable as best. As usual, you didn't answer my question. You diverted to trying to demean me as a human. You're pathetic. |

2 Well........I at least understand right from wrong....and my real gender. It does not appear that you can say the same. Please understand....I respond in kind. That father got by with murder; and should be sharing a cell with "Ole Butch." But instead, he breathes fresh air and walks among us, free as the breeze, enjoying life no doubt. His infant, helpless son, had his life snuffed out by a worthless parent...in the worst possible way. Try as you may, there simply is NO way to justify what this father did. |

I never once justified it. And please, I've told you before: I am quite aware of my gender. I was born a female, will always be one. Your intolerance of anything other than your closed minded beliefs doesn't make another "right or wrong" because you don't have the capacity to comprehend. Try again sugah. |

Let's stick with the point. What's right is right. The father, even though some of you are making excuses for him as a good person, still has a responsibility first to his children. Obviously he has allowed, on more than one occasion, to show NO responsible parental behavior in allowing this baby to sit in the hot car without supervision. I don't care if he has three jobs and 6 kids. I am also a mother of two children, and NEVER did I leave them in the car, even to go into 7-11 for gum! The safety of your children should be paramount, and he needs to take whatever the law gives him in punishment for his irresponsible acts. We all make mistakes, but one of this magnitude, and more than once? COME ON SOMEBODY!! There is no excuse! We all are accountable for our choices, even when it means we are going to pay a very high price!
