what ever happened to the gal who hit up the bank (becker?)

did she ever plead and go to prison, like a good little girl? or did she make an ordeal out of her innocence? mental cruelty? no one told me i couldn't take it? well, the bank's internal controls were so weak, i was just testing them?

what sounded like a lot of money stolen, was it $6 million or something in that neighborhood, was recently crushed in significance by another illinois-based town do gooder, rita crundwell of dixon (ronald reagan's boyhood home). she apparently has absconded with no less that $53,000,000, most of which was used to feed her 300+ showhorse operation! town fathers up there are trying to explain to the anxious citizenry that 'it will never happen again'. well, uh, yeah, one doubts dixon, which has a $7 million annual budget, will ever again provide the opportunity to one of its own to walk off undetected with 7 or 8 x the current annual intake!! thanks, mayor, for that assurance!

wasn't the jerseyville veep a local named becker? thought she was arraigned in federal court in picturesque east st. louis. t'would be a nice place for the little dear to spend the next 50 years of her miserable existence, too.
