carrizo needs hard working with a sense of loyalty and simple common sense persons. oh and with the drive to get off welfare. businesses are closing cuz they can't find someone to work on weekends. wait till more new ones come in and start taking those jobs then the lazy locals will be bitching that there are no jobs. remember the goverment is starting to do away with the help programs that most locals are used to getting. Mucho quidado.

business is closing because they dont wanna pay minimum wage is not enough. So those of you who say that you want welfare ppl working at your local fast food places i would ask really? if you look down at them right now what makes you think they are fit to cook and clean? its noones fault but the customers with rude attitudes and bosses who dont wanna pay so deal with it everybody cuz its only going to get worse. word of advise start learning how to cook for yourselves and stop whining

Alot of good suggestions but as a resident & if I wanted to invest in these ideas, especially the entertainment for children, at this moment It would be no. We had a bowling ally, parents were dropping their kids off unsupervised, running around, distroying and or playing with the equipment. Not enjoyable for the people who wanted to bowl. I agree these children do need someplace to be entertain but with that said you will need strict rules and have employees who will enforce these rules and hold the parents responsible for supervision and damages. Go to Walmart, sit back and watch the kids running around, playing with the merchandise, yelling, pushing cart up and down the isles and ramming them into the display. Where are the parent, somewhere in the store or sometimes they are right there. The Car rental would be a great idea, out of town guest could use one, we had one until the vehicles were use for trafficing drug and got confiscated. The company lost alot of car and money, so pickup and left. I agree a more retail store, such as Target, K-mart, J.P. Penny, etc., etc. A market that will carry more variety on food product, fruits and vegtables.
A nice AMERICAN CUISINE resturant with a lounge.

Sheriff Sample tried to get the city to form their own police department. The current sheriff is more concerned with earning money and has been guarding oilfield gates, until he was fired for sleeping, and has created his own oilfield security company. The JP's set low bonds and Stella Saenz bails them out before the ink dries. JUSTICE?--hold the judges and proscecutors responsible. Vote Sample for Sheriff to again clean up the Sheriff's office. The current sheriff is just riding Sheriff Sample's coattails.

My ex regrets it now and I get to laugh in his and his new bitch ass wife's face, idk how many times he's tried to get with me behind her back and I just turn him down. Remind him to his face that he had this completely and he threw it away that he can't get me back now. I have more self respect than to play second to any other woman. More women should find that respect for themselves.

Did anyone else notice that Stella Saenz has exclusivity for all the bail bonds now? Talk about corrupt system.

Carrizo needs to stop selling out to oil companies and drug dealers. But people are greedy and that will never happen. Don't expect that to change anytime soon. Everyone is always looking out for themselves and that's why the town never changes. Forget oil and jobs what difference will it make if no one gives a DAMN!

I understand there is a big demand for many things in Carrizo due to the oil boom for some is great and for some is not good. Nevertheless, can someone share with me some ideas of what is needed and would work in Carrizo. Thanks in advance for sharing....
A place where I can pay my bill or get money orders without standing in line what seem like forever. A office supply store, a movie theater, affordable housing for those who's salaries are of minium wage.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Scorpio

There are days when you feel you can't say or do anything right, but happily this isn't one of them. In fact, it's a wonderful day in which everything goes well and it's remarkably easy to get on well with whoever happens to be around. Not that you want to spend your time with just any old person. You'd much rather get together with some close friends or that special someone in your life.
