Why are people getting so shookup about something so beautiful. Cougars are only trying to survive, after all this is Badland country. As long as they are not a threat to your family or farm. Leave them alone and let them be what they are.(COUGARS)

I agree (to an extent). I think having an actual season for them is fine, but I think its ridiculous that people are getting their undies in a bunch over them right now. This may come as a newsflash to some, but cougars have always been here. Its not like they just suddenly appeared 3 years ago. I've heard stories from 30 and 40 years ago about cougars here. So the idea of people freaking out and not letting their kids go outside to play, etc, is stupid. If anything its us humans taking over their territory.

hi Neets. I was just wondering, how's the skeeters? Is the DEET keeping them at bay? The VC cought 4000 {?} in one trap in 12 hrs. Did I read that right? I have faith that one more dollers worth of POISON from every homeowner there might do the trick. I was serious bout the Qtip taking the place of bees in the garden. Try it. Also stop eating SALT. Skeeters love salt on thier dinner. Good luck. I am glad you are "Tough". Enjoy your summer.

Actually they're not that bad in my yard..I just spent the whole day out there. I think people are learning their lesson after last year..people are trying harder to control their yards. But yea..you and I have already been round n round on how "horrible" Williston is. And as I said about our garden last year..we NEVER had to q-tip it and we had corn WAIST high by the 4th last year. I'm glad you love it so much there in ME and I hope that everyone else that hates Williston so much gets out, too. Everyone needs to find the place that makes them happy. But I'd bet that more and more people are finding out what Williston has to offer, because I'm hearing alot of positive things about it here, regardless of what you say.

Cougars are only trying to survive. We have chased them from their habitat and just wish them to go away. It's only natural for cougars to claim what is theirs. Cougars can be unpredicable but then so are human beings. Humans are more of a threat to society.
