I'm simply going to stop leaving my tax dollars in St Charles after having been fined for turning right on red at 59 and North Ave at 7:30 on a Saturday morning (with no other cars in sight). $25 would be a deterrent, $50 would be a warning, but $100 is a stick up. I refuse to support a hostile town. No more money spent at Target, Blue Goose, Lin's Garden, Carson Pirie Scott, Jewel, Von Maur, Chili's, Portillo's...Good bye, St. Charles. I'll support friendly communities that have all that to offer and don't charge a fine for getting there.
