Carol Stream Man Arrested For Killing Mother
A 35-year-old man was charged Saturday after fatally stabbing his mother in their west suburban home Friday afternoon.
Police were called to an apartment at 222B Klein Creek Ct. in Carol Stream at 3:17 p.m. for a possible domestic incident there, as well as to check on the well being of the residents of the apartment, according to a release from Carol Stream police.
Linda R. Bolek, 61, of the Klein Creek address, was found fatally stabbed in her kitchen when police arrived, the release said. Read more

that was my step-aunt , and i am in such shock...i havent seen either one of them in a lot of years but i am so sad. what a tragedy.
