i still don't get why they are criticizing the stimulus money. the local workers are going to earn more money than without the stimulus, which they can in turn spend in Perkins, and they also don't have to worry about losing work to someone that will work for dirt cheap. they will be supporting the american economy, which is a patriotic thing to do, by buying american steel. and they are going to get a quality product. All for 400k more than the 5 MILLION, which they didn't have to begin with either by the way. Also, I am not sure if they guy is saying his bills went up $40 because of the 400k increase or what. if so, then that needs to be investigated, because it only went up $28 for the initial 5 MILLION.

Just a little FYI, it went up $25 initially, and then an extra $2 for every 1000 gallons you use. My bill nearly doubled and became near unafordable. I don't care how they pay for it, but I decided to live in Perkins because it was supposed to be better than living in Stillwater. I don't mind paying for this sewage plant if it is needed, but if this is a permanent increase (which the ladies at city hall said it is) then they could have raised the fees a little less and paid it out over a longer period of time. You have no idea how much I regret buying my house in Perkins now. It's cheaper to live in Stillwater, and it's a college town. Pathetic.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Pisces

Although you're busy putting the finishing touches to your Christmas preparations, you'll also have to pay attention to someone who's feeling neglected or unloved. Luckily, it won't take much to make this person feel better, so a big hug or a little consideration might do the trick. You should also bear in mind that they may be feeling nostalgic or sad about the past.
