This story inspires me to become a better student and defeat all the obstacles I and many of others are facing during as college (e.g. the transition from high school to college, family problems, financial issues, difficulty with some subjects because ESL. etc) and graduate from CSULB. Although, the furloughs gives us less time to the professors to go over the subject or set days for exam reviews and the cut of many resources around the school. I should take this furloughs and obstacles to help me become a stronger student. From 50 years from now, I hope that I will an inspiration alumni from CSULB like the one in the article above.

P.S. Compton is a city that has a lot of potentials! They lived in Compton too, so did President George W. Bush (1950's).
