Why does my name show up next to my google reviews but no one else's?

Why is it when I see someone else's Google reviews of businesses and services they all say: "A Google User" to help protect their identity. But any review I make has my full name next to it? Up until a couple months ago they used to let me set an alias but now that option is gone from their settings. It's not like I'm not speaking the truth when I give a good or bad review but I would at least like some privacy. Also I don't think it's fair that the others all say "A Google User" while my name is in plain site.

I am looking for the same answer. I used to be able to use this alias, and Mike Chicago, but now I don't want to write any reviews. Google! Answer our question!
