What I found interesting out of the 14 state study was that New Jersey was the highest and Albama was the lowest.

I would be looking in more depth in why that is. That is one major reason that I prefer longitudinal studies. But, that also involves a lot of work and a lot more money in doing so.

Cheers

My kids had never received that many injections, while growing up. I know several parents and their children have never received that many injections on one visit, much less alone spread out.

And to see that many lawsuits is lousy. Seems to me that the courts need to slam the medical personnel involved here har, both fianancially and by revoking their licenses.

Mold / Fungus should never be ruled out in health issues:

In the North with falling leaves and a higher moisture content could mold be more of a problem then we know? The south is warmer and has a different type of vegetation and tree.

Many home in the North lack any moisture barriers in earlier construction and there is a condensation point between the cold outdoors and the warmth of the house in which mold could thrive year round. I agree, they need to do a more in-depth study by regions.

Here's another article to consider:

That article on the mold was very good Human Spirit. When I saw the rooms at my grad school with the mold, I went to the housing director and asked him what the hell was he thinking about in not cleaning it up. He couldn't provide a good reason for that.

The article about yeast effecting Autism was really interesting. So much has changed in the past forty years that effects our life styles and it's really important for everyone to learn more about this.

Yeast infection in women along has risen and we don't know that has happened.

I alway encourage my clients to learn all they can about their health issues and to better understand what effects them, rather than just rely on the doctor to provide the answers.

Thanks for sharing the two articles Human Spirit.

Cheers

Yada;
Your underestimating the figures for Autism.
There is no way to estimate the amount of Reglan admisnistered to an infant or child as there is no tests chemical imbalance. Prudence would tell you not give an (a) antipsychotic drug to a child.
CDC: 1 in 150 Kids May Have Autism
Autism Spectrum Disorders More Common Than Previously Believed, CDC Says After 14-State Study
By Miranda Hitti
WebMD Medical News
Reviewed By Louise Chang, MD
on Thursday, February 08, 2007
Feb. 8, 2007 -- Autism disorders are "more common than previously believed," affecting about one in 150 8-year-olds in the 14 states studied, says the CDC .
That's higher than previous CDC estimates of up to one in 166 children.
Autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) include autistic disorder, Asperger's syndrome, and pervasive developmental disorder (including atypical autism). These disorders involve impairments with social, communicative, and behavioral skills.
CDC officials pointed out that the new figures don't represent all U.S. children, or show whether autism is increasing in the U.S.
But the CDC's study was designed to provide "more consistent and reliable estimates," says the CDC's Marshalynn Yeargin-Allsopp, MD.
"Our estimates are becoming better and more consistent, though we can't yet tell if there is a true increase in ASDs or if the changes are the result of our better studies," says CDC director Julie Gerberding, MD, MPH, in a CDC news release.
"We do know, however, that these disorders are affecting too many children," Gerberding says.
'Urgent' Issue
Autism spectrum disorders are an "urgent public health issue that affects the lives of many families and communities," Yeargin-Allsopp told reporters.
Yeargin-Allsopp heads the Developmental Disabilities branch of the National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities.
The CDC report calls for greater efforts to diagnose children as early as possible so they can be treated -- and shows that early diagnosis is too rare.
It appears in the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report Surveillance Summaries

I was not aware I stated any estimates of autism spectrum disorders. Thanks for your attempt to inform me but I already know what those disorders are and the CDCs vague remark about them. I'm sorry neither you nor anybody else commenting on here understood anything I said. Somebody else with a science and or medical background might.
Cheers!

Your statement from post 18:

You have no clue what autism is and hence toss out such reckless and foolish comments as to suggest Reglan could cause it. Most people have no clue what autism is including many physicians. That's because autism is so rare most people incluing physicians never encounter people with the disorder.

Complexity emerges from simplicity.

Your last paragraph shows that you may need to brush up on how rare Autism spectrum disorders really is in your uninformed opinion. I suggest you confine yourself to a topic that you may have some knowledge on.

There has been a battle, on going, over ASD Vs Vacination for the past 5 years or more.
