Right where they are suppose to be. Protecting the residents of the Borough, not Shippensburg TWP. Before you complain get the facts straight.

Right on - Twp. decided to disband the Regional Police and just go with State Police, who through no fault of their own, are spread too thin and request Borough to investigate and/or assist in a lot of their high incident calls. Unless it is life threatening, SPD isn't providing free coverage to the Twp. when state isn't available. Borough PD got called to assist state when the stabbing occurred on Britton Road and THEY caught the suspect because PSP didn't have enough troopers in the area...Just FYI for those who don't already know.

Home invasion by a gang of thugs. The people invaded can identify the invaders. Round up the suspects.

You're proving your stupidity, clown. High Street is not in the borough police jurisdiction, it's state police territory. Wise up or shut up.

If they are breaking into my house they are guilty and I will shoot first. I don't bother with a silly hand gun a good 12 gage pump shot gun, that way you dont have to worry about them surviving.

I think 10+ men breaking down your door would qualify you to use lethal force. There's no way you can win that fight and survive (you don't know if they're going to kill you or not) without shooting.

So what would you do? Tell them not to bother breaking down the door but rather open it for them and kick your own a$$?

Definitely get your permit but you don't need it for inside your home. And in PA, you can carry your weapon open legally. But if you cover it with a jacket or get in to your car with it on, that's considered concealed and you'd need your permit.

Also helps minimize collateral damage. Unfortunately, I don't have a shotty anymore, so they will be meeting up with a 30-06, so don't be standing behind someone I'm aiming at.

I have a serious, respectful question. In PA, if you are allowed to open carry, how do you transport your weapon when you need to go somewhere in a car? What is the legal way to say, go to the gunsmith for repairs on your handgun? How do you legally transport a newly purchased handgun home from the gun shop? Is it legal to transport it in a motor vehicle in a gun case?

A word of advice. This is the wrong place for a serious question.

Actually, I believe that High Street is indeed in the Borough of Shippensburg. The town cops all go home at 5pm, that's where they were.

Daily Horoscope for December 21

Aquarius

Although you're still feeling sociable and outgoing, the Solstice brings the need for a little time to yourself now and then. It's time to temper your busy social life with some precious moments of solitude. Make sure you do, as this need is something important and life-enhancing. It will certainly recharge your inner batteries, which might be a little run down.
