Marion Rolla faces battle to recover from fall

Maybe he should have layed off the booze and he might never have fallen off his porch. It was only a matter of time before something like this happened to him. He should be very grateful that he is alive.

A person can fall or take a tumble stone cold sober....heck I've done it 3 times this year. Its just to bad that this had to happen to him and his family. I hope he has a full recovery.

sad thing is PST he was always soooo mean to kids when we all were growing up, thought it was a case of im better than u... well sad to say but this is where he was proven he isnt better, but i hope he recovers to some point of a normal life...never have and never will wish any harm to anyone...

What goes around comes around. He could have had a chip on his shoulder because he was made fun of because of his crippled arm? He was a VERY heavy drinker, that i know. He has two very sweet daughters. So for their sakes i too hope he recovers as much as possible.

You people make me sick the man was never mean nor did he deserve this just because he drinks. Who the hell are you to judge anyone remember what you said what comes around goes around and one day all your gosip and put downs on people will come back.Mr Rolla is a great man and teacher believe me I know. Guess you guys are perfect and have never done wrong. I know this the day you all stand in front of God for judgement he will remember all your gosip and the way you are. I am not perfect either but I sure DO NOT judge or talk about people mainly behind there back. Wonder if you all would say this to his face or Merry Jo's. Word of advice stop talking bad about people and pray for them and you instead.Thank you Mr. Rolla for everything and I am praying for you and so is our church

There is that old saying that "the proof is in the puddin". I've seen him get on his bike so drunk that he could hardly walk. I'm just surprised that he never killed himself or someone else on the road. Oh yea, wasn't he also a wife beater?? I too pray for those that are lost, but they first have to help themselves and ask for forgivness. I really don't need a leson in being a Christian. Hopefully this accident happened for a reason and he might see the light and straighten his life up.

Funny thing about tragedies....something happens to someone that ain't worth spit they suddenly become such a wonderful person. I say bull.........!

well PST i think we can say what we think--- he was a mean spirited guy had nothing to do with his hand he thought he was better than most ppl alot of nobodies who came from christopher DID. i havce seen him make fun of alot of different ppl..i feel sorry for anyone who has a terrible accident of any kind of tradgey- BUT- to sugar coat it and say he wasnt mean is B.S. i understand he still is mean spirited and always will be....cant tell me any different i came from christopher....

First of all you know nothing about me or the kind of person I am. Second I have a right to express how I feel and what I have seen. Marion CHOSE to get dog drunk that night and while his brother was trying to help in into the house he fell off the porch and hit his head. I do have much compassion for his family and children that they have had to go though this ordeal with him. But Life is about choices and the consequences that those choices bring. Now his insurance is run out (the reason that this was put in the paper) so they are next going to be asking for donations to get him the care that he needs. All because he CHOSE to be a drunk! There are soildiers that have fought in Iraq that cannot get the proper care for head injuries. I would rather donate money to them instead of someone like him.
