Place sucks. You have to be the A** kisser or black to stay employed there. Can't name all the bosses that suck there but I would say that Bill Richardson would make the top ten. Let's also mention the shift cordinators that are worthless, and as far as techs Chris Clark would have to make the list-thinks he knows everything when in fact he sucks, and no one wants to work with him-surprise loser towel doesn't want you either. Maybe Richard can give you some up the butt and you could smile once in awhile, or maybe his sister could.

If you would quit then the IQ of my workplace would jump dramatically. If it is so bad then go work for somewhere else. Don't get on a forum because you are too big of a wuss to tell people what you think. I would like you to grow a pair and say stuff to people's face so you can either get it dealt with or leave. Do everyone a favor and turn in your notice.

MAJOR MAJOR nepotism going on to get a job there. Nepotism is favoritism granted to relatives or friends, without regard to their merit.[

Funny thing, I have been there a long time and have absolutely no relatives there. Yes they do hire alot of relatives. They figure good employees ru in the family. For the most part they are correct. But nepotism is everywhere. I bet yours and your parents will is full of it.

P&G treats their contractors like crap. If it wouldn't be for us, the business wouldn't run. They act like they are gods and the contractors are worthless scum. We're all people!!!

We're all people!!! I treat all the contractors well. Don't generalize everyone. I know all of our Manpower people by first name, and have met them outside and shared a beer with some of them, so just say some, not all!

My wife works at P&G in Cape Girardeau under Manpower. She does a great job for them. Problem is, no matter how great a job she does, they (P&G and Manpower) only want MORE MORE MORE! There simply is no satisfying those people. The relationship Manpower has with P&G is toxic and horribly structured. One gets the impression Manpower is P&G's least favorite contractor at this facility. There is no codified process to determine if a Manpower employee is failing to perform his/her duties. Instead, the process is simple: if a P&G employee complains about you (which happens incessantly) you're going to get it. Yup, that's the system. The Manpower people at this facility are LITERALLY afraid of the P&G workers. It's as if P&G are deities and Manpower are dirty-cheeked serfs. How wonderful in 2010 America. What's worse is that Manpower treats ITS OWN workers like disposable dinnerware, so those who find themselves working at that plant are getting it from both ends. If you like the idea of having TWO unreasonably demanding companies on your case as you work for little money in a loud factory owned by a multibillion dollar, multinational corporation, then P&G under Manpower is for you! Also, Manpower allows an absolute BARRAGE of employees to sign up for overtime at P&G in Cape Girardeau, and then these people show up to work their overtime shifts only to find that they're not going to be allowed to work because "the customer doesn't need them." In other words, they abuse the dedication, need, and commitment of their employees. This is hardly a professional operation. Stay away from this place. I am going to push my wife toward getting a different job. I'm tired of them making her cry. Manpower workers are desperately in need of union representation. Their lives would be so dramatically improved. And by the way, this is coming from someone who generally hates unions. However, unions were created to protect people from this very type of abuse. Sweatshop conditions have no place in the United States. On the subject of what my wife deals with out there, I could go on and on. The next huge Missouri earthquake can’t level that place quickly enough.

There have been Thousands of contractors that have come and gone and MOST can't stand P&G employees. They are lazy,rude,fat,two-faced liars that can't be trusted. Who wants a friend like that? Not me! I say "Birds of a feather, flock together." That is why a P&G employee has no friends.

What's new at P&G in 2011? I worked there in 78~79. Got laid off because of the Rely shutdown. Moved to California after that. 30 years later - I'm back in town. Manpower (MP) is bringing me into the Lab. What am in for? What are the 12 hr shifts a, b & c? What's the best one? How many MPs get to be P&G employees if they prove themselves worthy?
