Pet Peeves

What are your pet peeves?

One of mine concerns people to lazy to walk across a lane or even two parking spots to put up a shopping cart. If you are physically unable that is understandable but most of what I see is lack of regard for others or pure D laziness.

Misuse of the concept of 'to' and 'too'.

I'm not just being mean. Had you not 'violated', I probably would've went with the common misuse of 'there','their' and they're. Maybe even spoken mistakes, such as the cringe-inducing 'supposeBly' or 'prolly'.

How about the misuse of your and you're? That drives me crazy!

YOU'RE right. That mistake, by far, exceeds the 'there' problem.

My pet peeve is when I hold the door open for someone and they do not even say thanks. Makes me want to say, "F...U!"

Lazy people at Wal-Mart. They drive around and around trying to find a close spot so they won't have to walk so far to get to the front door. Do they think someone will wisk them off their feet and carry them once inside? Oh, and Illinois drivers.

Missouri drivers suck!

People who say one thing but do another. I cannot stand twofaced people.

Hmmm never thought about the driving around the parking lot deal---- you're right!! Now I'll always be thinking about that when I go to Wally world.

I hate it when someone urinates on the toilet seat in a public restroom and leaves it for someone else to clean up. If you don't want to sit on it then clean up your filthy mess -- the next patron doesn't want to and I guarantee the employees don't want to.

The use of the word irregardless -- that is a nonstandard word - regardless means the same thing for Pete sake.

People who pull out in front of me then poke. There isn't anyone behind me for crying out loud can't you wait 5 seconds?

Oops - you're right I did misuse. My bad.

How about the phrase, "I could care less." It should be, "I could not care less."

Okay, all you grammer nuts.....there are more important peeves...but, people who say "I seen" instead of "I saw" make me think they are a brutish lot.

The use of the word lil' instead of little

Coughing without covering your mouth. YOU KNOW THE PEOPLE! They stick their tongues out and sound like they are throwing up! DISGUSTING!

People abusing the handicap parking at Schnucks. I witnessed a slim ball park in the handicap spot only to go in and get smokes and lottery.

Since when does being fat, lazy or ignorant make someone handicap?

they probably went to get beer....you know that's important. it makes most people handicaped
